    By Friday this week:

SG offered and takes the job on a 2 year contract. Says he is satisfied that whilst the budget isnt everything he wanted he can work with it and is confident of success. Says he will start on sorting current players and potential new recruits straight after final game at Scunthorpe tomorrow - next year it will be his team and he will stand or fall based on its achievements

Edin makes a statement that he accepts mistakes have been made and the season has not gone as he and Rupp hoped - but they have learned big lessons and they want to confirm they are here for the long haul and are committed to success at Bradford City. He also confirms work on the pitch has already started and it would be rectified once and for all.

Is this really that far fetched and impossible to achieve?

Ye but Killa went of injured. It was 0-0 at the time but that soon changed when Thompson came on. As i said we played with a make shift left back. Vince and Thompson (less said the better) and Hanson on the right (poor lad). And Raeder in Goals (comical). Terrible memories for me that game along side the shouting from a certain VIP to change it (not edin). I shouted back for who? As we were struggling with their wing play and needed a decent fullback. Did he expect Gibson or Patrick to become fullbacks or centre halves?

But hey hendrie was not worth the extra pennys and it was not as if we did not realise the team were struggling beforehand. And being ready is just a saying in football.

Recruitment, who needs that when we can just point the finger when it finally goes tits up.

Voted Parky in jest. Ideally I want to see Grayson with a good budget and have a look at what he can do. Other than that I can't think of anyone else who isn't a massive risk. Stuart is a big no, he's had two stabs and failed at both. The only way I want to see him back is the next step up, heading a buy out consortium, but I suspect if that happened he'd get turned on once the natives didn't get millions spent on players.

Despite our recent history and crowds we are a solid league one club and constantly fighting it out for the playoffs whilst the relegated championship clubs keep bouncing between the two leagues is the best we can hope for until we have owners who are genuinely prepared to break FFP and fund us.

Is this season failure ? Look at the number who would have been happy with top ten on 1st Aug 2017 and come back to me on that.

Hendrie wasn't worth the extra pennies. We could have easily played Vince or Dieng at RB, both have played there many times. McCall would still be in a job if he hadn't had the ludicrous idea that Callum Guy was a right back.

But those comments were made back in August, as the season progressed and we looked very much to have a very good chance of making a play off place ours, opinions changed as we were 8points clear of 7th, nobody thought there was any way our season would capitulate like it did.

Win ratios mean diddly squat to anyone. What matters is promotion. Parkinson has achieved it at least four times in his career and he's five years younger than Stuart. As is Grayson. I'd take a 45% win rate as long as there were another 20 draws on there to get 80 points. (as per 2016/17). Losing so many home matches in a season gets manager's sacked. That is a fact.

Vince at RB? Dieng at RB? ye that would have saved him his job.

Very true on the first of January 2018, by 31st January 2018 most of us could easily see that the season was gone. Whose team selection in that month ruined the season ? Who played Callum Guy at RB and didn't play the former England International he'd signed at LB ? Who spent the entire season with two left footed CH's and didn't change it when one of them was playing as well as Poleon does now ?was to pick points up aa

Sorry Bronco, but if we had made some tactical changes in January rather than sulking about not getting new players we might still be up there. Dieng at RB for one, Vince at RCH for another. Devine and Law in midfield. Robinson on one wing, Patrick on the other.

This league (outside of the top 2/3) isn't technical enough for silly formations. When Parky was in trouble he drilled his 442 into the team and got out of it. Stuart brought on his own down fall with his tactical naivety rather than a lack of signings and injuries.

All we needed was to pick up points against the dross teams of Wimbledon & Northampton & Oldham and we'd have come out of this run without the need to change manager. Only one person to blame for Stuart losing his job and it's not the owners, it's SM.

When Stuart was here first time I thought he'd made a massive mistake by appointing WJ as assistant and that had let him down. Looking at what WJ is doing alongside Bruno at West Brom I've changed my view, Stuart is too stuck in his ways as a manager. The players he signed were generally too small for this league of giants and his formations were so baffling that Simon Parker struggled to work them out most of the time.

Grayson isn't exciting me as a manager but if he plays 442 and gets some power into the team I'll take him over the fairy tale appointment every time.

Not yet, but the success for Bolton is staying up. It's a different scenario to a promotion chasing team losing nearly 50% of it's home matches. Especially one where cheap season tickets dictate that a lot of the home crowd are "floaters" and will stay away if they see a losing team too often.

Bolton are down to their hardcore. They'll renew whatever, 6,000 of ours have run and a massive part in that is a 50% lose rate at home.

I stopped reading when Parky was in trouble, was that during his 1 win in 21?

how many did Parky win and lose at home in season 2014/15? Compared to this horrendous campaign?

These Parky lovers have short memories.

Stop your rambling HB, all I said was most who said we'd have a middle of the table finish made that comment before or as the season started, have you swallowed a dictionary, and as @Urban Soldier@Urban Soldier replied Vincelot or Deing right full back, and your having a go at McCall for playing Guy ?.
