That's not a slight issue mate.

You think Man Utd, Spurs and Arsenal will be happy with that? I think you will see Utd taking legal action for sure.

I don't understand this wanting to end the season. Don't get it at all. What no one is ever going to go back to work?

It's 9 games. Not 30. I think solutions can be found to finish the season off.

Also the TV money is a massive issue.

He helped get us in this mess. It's like praising the Conservatives when they should have stopped or reduced the situation we all find ourselves in now. Madness.

Sure Rupp has helped out but clearly needs to more or sell the club. Simple really.

One option that I understand is being discussed is to simply upscale the points for those clubs who have played fewer games, such as Arsenal, and for those 'revised' points to determine the league positions for Sky distributions and CL places etc and promotion spots. As you could imagine, it's not without its problems! There are still some very difficult discussions to be had about relegation spots but again one option being considered is not to have relegations at the end of this season (however it is concluded). For example that would mean having 22 clubs in the PL next season and then go back to the usual pyramid at the end of the next season with more clubs then being relegated.

So more games in a season when we have Euros, ACON and Coppa. Doubt it.

I think we'd be stuffed without him @Tolly856@Tolly856 . It amazes me how some like to paint Rupp as devil incarnate and want him to quit to be replaced by ???

Yes @Dennis@Dennis next time I talk to Ryan Sparks or indeed Simon Parker I'll tell them their talking rubbish. Does @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler know if Rupp is indeed funding the club as staff members say, or not as you say.

I really don't get those that want the season to end. Yes, football in this dark days can been seen as a little thing.

Funny really, I cut the lawn the other day, because it still matters. I marvelled at the night sky with a beautiful crescent moon rising with Venus shining above it. I felt happy after seeing our frog appear in the garden pond for the first time this year just the other night. You see, these things still matter, even if they are not No1 priority in life at the moment.

When you give up on the little things, what have you got left in life? In dark times, looking forward to better days can get you through. Chances are, 95+% of our day is taken up with getting through this horrible mess. If we manage to distract ourselves for the other 5% then our mental wellbeing will benefit for it.

Well yes. We’ve gone from being a whisker away from the Championship to an average league 2 club under his ownership. He’s also using the clubs largest asset to finance the mess he got us into. What exactly are you amazed at?

    Breaking news.

The Football Association remains determined to complete the Women's Super League season - but wants the campaign completed by early August.

BBC Sport understands voiding the 2019-20 season was one of several options discussed over a conference call with club representatives on Friday.

But no such decision was taken and consultations will continue while players and club staff are isolating.

WSL bosses reiterated the season will only resume if and when it is safe.

Friday's conference call came after Thursday's announcement that tiers three to seven of the women's game are to end their seasons immediately, with all results from those campaigns expunged.

But bringing the top two divisions of the English women's game to the same abrupt conclusion has not emerged as the preferred choice of the WSL and Championship, which are run by the FA.

The leagues will recommence no earlier than 30 April but a 12-week period of isolation is considered likely.

WSL clubs have between six and nine matches remaining this season, depending on games in hand, meaning the campaign will need to have resumed by mid-July in order to finish by the cut-off that has been set by the FA.

Football genuinely doesnt matter right now.

But one option MIGHT be to complete remaining games behind closed doors, IF those involved were able to be tested and proved to have already had the virus and be immune. But logistically it would be very difficult to undertake.

Any contact sport will have the same issues. We are not going to ban all sport until a vaccine is found.

Solutions have to be found and will be. The world needs to find solutions right now.

We were told when this virus reared it's head it could take up to 18 months to get a "solution" as you put it, anything sooner will be a great achievement, I would hope all countries scientists etc will be sharing any positives they find along the ways to an anti virus.

The FA is intending introducing a new rule to enforce the 2 metre personal distancing advice on the pitch. That might well play to our strengths since we adopted that rule a couple of seasons ago! ;)

We're not going to stop sport for 18 months mate.

Think it will be a case of you all know the facts soon but no over 70's at mass gatherings and on planes etc.
