    I do see your point Fordy, but he's not completely useless. "Ticking over" as you put it is not what we all would like, but for the time being at least he is keeping it ticking over while we wait for your mystery buyer. My worry is that he loses interest completely before thathappens

    And this is why I think the club is in danager.

    Mr Rupp has of yet is showing no signs of wanting to build, develop and move this club forward.

    What was the main reason for him investing in the club?

    I know it's non league but I heard billericay football club new owners building a new training ground.. our owner is doing nothing.. we're ticking!

    Edin was the main issue here but Mr Rupp plan could be get us back into div 1 then get out.. let's see but it's disappointing at this moment.

    And to be honest Fordy I'm not expecting him to do any more. I don't know his reasons for buying the club ( I suspect an expensive boys toy ). He has no interest in football or Bradford so I suppose I am grateful that he is prepared to keep it ticking over (whatever his motive for this is), but I think it's only a matter of time before he loses interest

    That's worry for me though mate.

    If he bought one of his motor cars he would be investing in it.

    If it was business he was serious about he would be looking to kick this club on.

    Disappointed in Rhodes also if I am honest because he sold the club to Edin and Rupp and basically he should of kept it if he was selling to people that didn't want to take the club forward.

    I think he thought they would be able to take the club forward. No doubt Rupp has the money. Just Rahic turned out to be a lunatic

    Why would you be worried about Rupp losing interest? He isn't involved in the day to day running of the club and hasn't invested in us either.

    What use is he to Bradford City?

    Where would we be if he left? I could be wrong but I thought he had provided funds, or at the very least guarantees, to enable this years budget

    This thread is like Groundhog Day. Rupp is going nowhere, he has made that plain, unless a good offer comes in. I am as inpatient as the next fan, but he believes he has invested enough to get us out of this league, hopefully this season. After that we shall have to wait and see. LG 1 is a different proposition and further investment will be needed.

    Taking the McBurnie isn't a good sign mate.

    Rhodes wants us to break even so he won't be covering anything.

    Sorry but I agree with @Tolly856@Tolly856 i don't see what he offers. He isn't doing anymore than Rhodes and Lawn but is richer.

    The club will always be in danager operating like this.

    Everything ranging from the budget to the deficit has been funded by the Mcburnie fee.

    All Rupp has done since he's been here is get us relegated and deplete our largest and only asset to cover his mess.

    I'm sure we'll be just fine without him.

    So what are his plans then?

    So let me get this right. When we were in Div 1 I didn't see major investment or plans. What will be different next time?

    The plan of going up to league 1 would of been the aim of any owner.

    You're not answering the title of the thread. Maybe that's why it seems groundhog to you.
