Again, you aren't presenting facts. You are presenting a desire. You are asking someone to buy the club, invest in capital expenditure and presumably some sort of increase in the playing budget. My guess is that will take it to something approaching the £10 million+ that has already been mentioned. Please don't present this fantasy investor as being a fact or just a simple matter of Rupp saying that he'll sell tomorrow. Fact it is not.

 

The only person who's not getting it is yourself. You are effectively stating that there are definitely investors who are just waiting in the wings to buy the club and spend money on assets. As such you need to name these people. You seem absolutely certain that they exist. Name them.
What assets are you referring to? The stadium, the training ground?
How much does that cost? Real life figures would be nice.

Why don't you put yourself forward to help rupp to get things going forward after all you keep telling us all what an astute high flying businessman you are.

I think he thought they would be able to take the club forward. No doubt Rupp has the money. Just Rahic turned out to be a lunatic

 

Why would you be worried about Rupp losing interest? He isn't involved in the day to day running of the club and hasn't invested in us either.

What use is he to Bradford City?

 

Where would we be if he left? I could be wrong but I thought he had provided funds, or at the very least guarantees, to enable this years budget

 

This thread is like Groundhog Day. Rupp is going nowhere, he has made that plain, unless a good offer comes in. I am as inpatient as the next fan, but he believes he has invested enough to get us out of this league, hopefully this season. After that we shall have to wait and see. LG 1 is a different proposition and further investment will be needed.

 

Everything ranging from the budget to the deficit has been funded by the Mcburnie fee.

All Rupp has done since he's been here is get us relegated and deplete our largest and only asset to cover his mess.

I'm sure we'll be just fine without him.

 

Who mentioned anything about a buyer? You asked where we'd be without Rupp, and the simple answer is that if Rupp was to leave tomorrow we'll simply carry on as we are. Rhodes continuing to run things behind the scenes and the club funding itself as it has done since R + R first took over the club.

There has also been interest from other parties. Either RO has let it slip or it's a sheer coincidence but the £10M valuation is true, and is something I heard weeks ago.

 

Apologies to everyone if we are going round in circles again. RO confirmed on this thread that 10m isn't the valuation of the club. It is the amount needed, in his opinion, to buy the club AND also take it forward

 

In your simple world all businessmen other than ML-JR and SR would be easily capable of running City and getting us to kick on etc etc. Not true.

You are a self confessed business man so why don't YOU put a consortium together , buy the club and put your money where your mouth is? That way you could get us to the PL in no time at all. Its simple really, just throw lots of cash into the club and we will miraculously start to climb the football pyramid.

Get off your arris and do it yourself. You are probably the most scathing poster on here about how the club is run. So stop bleating and get a consortium together. Then go and get us to the Championship and stop there and see how easy that really is. And how much that would cost you. Would make your eyes water pal.

 

Roger, are you stating publicly that price to buy Bradford City is £10million?
If that’s the case then unless Stefan invests more of his cash then we don’t be seeing the Championship anytime soon.
With that kind of ambition then why should fans back the club with no hope of reaching the higher leagues?
