**so funny**so funny**so funny**so funny**so funny you stick it to them Ronnie. Surely the Guinness is vile by the time you finish it? I'm a Guinness drinker and couldn't think of anything worse than drinking it out of a plastic bottle.

This boycotting of sales is happening, plenty of my friends won’t spend a bean in VP, the shop must be suffering as well. More especially when the Christmas shopping gets into full flow, the kits and shirts will take a hammering.

I'm a shirt collector so just get them on the cheap at the end of the season in the jumble sale at VP. To add to the collection. Can't remember the last time I entered the shop?

Can't believe there are still people here that don't see how big our problems actually are. What is it, an 11 month blip in form? Unreal.

I used to admire your posts @banbrotam@banbrotam ................ But I felt SURE, even the likes of YOU could see the turmoil and mess we are in ? Please .......... Look at where we ARE, and deny that things are fast growing beyond repair. I sense January will be at least a month too late, and if that proves to be correct - Then City will be all but relegated post Easter.

Unless there are some Rabbits left in the hat - What else can save us ? Tomorrow night will tell us much. Coventry are average, at best ............... BUT - Should we lose AGAIN - WHERE is YOUR argument ? Not with the fans, for certain !

DESPAIR ?????? Please - Stop the condescending insinuations - WE are talking reality, like it or not.
YES - Other Clubs have issues........ BUT - Are they rotten to the core ?
    NO !!!!

6.5 % and served at about 4 degrees when I drink it (In a 'cool bag') - Either way, I deny the kiosk my purchases, and theirs are schitt, anyway, ha ha ha.

Edit ....... My plastic bottle is a £4.99 sports 500 ml refresher bottle from JD Sports, very little plastic taste 'carry over'. ;)

People need to rise above the endless point scoring and arguing over whos right and wrong. Its gone beyond that now.

Edin needs to take a back seat, at least publically. Like in politics, there comes a point when ones position becomes untenable and ‘stepping down’ is the only option to keep the mob at bay. Again, its not about right and wrong, its the nature of the industry. Its a results driven business first and foremost.

And, imho, some of the high profile ‘agitators’ need to take a long hard look at themselves. Fans aren’t stupid. Running to the press telling tales because your ‘feelings have been hurt’ or ‘you don’t feel valued’. Boo hoo. Thats life. Man up.

    ***WINNER***

They can see it but don't want to accept it.
I posted I thought Hopkin would turn our season around unfortunatly he inherited a bag of crap, I'm not sure he realised just how bad it was, and wether some like it or not this is a man made disaster, but let's not rock the boat, life's all about learning from your mistakes.

I would add some of the senior players do not seem to be putting in 100% and you hear albeit second hand the attitude/ comittment has not /is not up to the standards required in training and for their fitness regimes.

Well that is a detailed response. Before I reply, can l confirm that all I want, is for this club to succeed. Success is primarily measured in results. So lets have a look at a number of issues.
    • Fact that throughout 2018, we have now become the worst performing club out of 92, based on the number of points we have accrued.
    • Whatever else, that must be a baseline.
    • We are playing chaotic, disjointed football, which every game we go into, we are now the underdogs.
    • Just reflect back to the Macclesfield debacle. They are the bottom of the 92 ladder, and have only won a single league game all season. That was humiliating!
    • We have gone through 4 (5 if you count Abbott’s brief tenure) coaches in one season. Despite a range of styles, level of experience, the results are still exceptionally poor.
    • Our defence from being one that was watertight with Ben Williams run of clean sheets being exceptional, has become so porous as to be a joke (even with a reasonable keeper).
    • The sales of Season Tickets for 2018/2019 has dropped by over 20%! However you dress that up, it is an unmitigating disaster.
    • The players we have signed are a mere shadow of previous squads. Some may on ‘paper’ be decent players, however the individual components are not gelling. One must question the recruitment policy. The system of the ‘committee’ is not working. The Director of Football heads this system and they are the one who makes the primary decision. The old saying, too many cooks spoil the broth, comes to mind.
    • In respect of January, then which players are likely to say, based on the current performance and salary structure, ‘hey I want to sign for Bradford City’! The buck stops with the current group, who have to demonstrate to any recruits, that this is a team worth joining.
    • The current group of players have been recruited from May onwards. Several months have elapsed. The debacle of the pre season, the fitness coach and indeed the appointment of the then Coach, were not the responsibility of the supporters.
    • If we were no ‘poorer’ than our rivals in January, then how come we have totally collapsed?
    • Blackpool and Charlton plus Coventry despite the turmoil are as teams performing far better than us, based on factual evidence!
    • McCall has to accept some responsibility as does Grayson, Abbott and Collins. The continuity factor is the Director of Football, which is a fact.
The owners have progressed matters in respect of the pitch, which had previously been neglected. They have introduced the scanning system for entry to the stadium, which speeds it up a little. Some seats have been replaced. I understand that there may have been some improvements with the training facilities. Credit where credit is due, but the reality is that any owners should/could have undertaken these tasks.

Frankly I am not concerned about the owners background. I do not dislike them personally, I have never met them. However I do dislike what is happening to the team I support. The conduct and behaviour of the owners seems to be the primary factor which is slowly degrading the performance, credibility and joy of being a supporter. They are the universal factor, players, managers and staff have both gone and come, yet things continue to deteriorate.

I think that both Rahic and Rupp need to go further than say ‘Sorry’, and accept that their mode of operation has not worked and that progress which had occurred previously has now become rapid regression.

You have to question how a club like Accrington with a small fan base, basic (and unsatisfactory in respect of the open terracing) small stadium can succeed, when we are in a massive ‘tail spin’.

A bit like @Park bantam@Park bantam you have put a caveat in your final sentence. You say ‘I await the usual reaction’. That is a loaded comment in the fact that you seem to infer that responses are lesser, if they take a different point of view. I can see what you are doing, and through it. A mature honest and open debate is what we need. At times it will be difficult , but then being a City supporter is exceptionally painful at the moment.

Dave you’ve met me a few times, you know I want what is best and reasonable. We are getting neither at the moment. You know where I go pre match. On Saturday, it was more like a Tuesday night initial cup game. The usual buzz, is evaporating. Irrespective of this forum, people are voting with their feet. Frankly it is not ‘alright’ as the original poster suggested it would be.

Some realistic targets due to them not playing, obviously probably too high on wages but we will need to pay high if we want to stay up:

Mark Beevers - Been on the bench for last 5 or 6 games or so.
Marvin Johnson - Either not in the squad or on the bench.
Leonardo da Silva Lopes - 0 minutes in the league this season and has only featured in 1 cup game.
Will Keane - 63 minutes played in the league, either not in squad or on the bench.

There's quite a few in championship playing for teams who are struggling and aren't getting game time. I suspect Hopkin may go for a few from Livingston if ER will allow him some money.

I hear a lot about our injury list, and how no team would be able to cope with the amount of injuries we've got.... who are these people expecting to come back in and turn us into a good side all of a sudden?

    Akpan? Chicksen?! Jake Reeves?

it's not going to happen. the injury list is just a red herring, or something trumpeted by delusional happy clappers that can't realistically even believe their own shit at this point.

we are crap. the players were brought in with no thought given to how theyd fit into the team, on a match day our team is a mess - disjointed, unorganised. lots of hustle and bustle in the middle of the park and chances for the opposition. not so much for us.

What a crock of long-winded bollox
It's all down to one man, and we will continue to fail and regress whilst he's here !

I would say that the players are putting 100% in ..........................
    90% lack of confidence
    10% lack of ability.

It was suggested that some players may be dreading being picked for a starting eleven place ..............
The FEAR factor has taken over, faster than a festering Ulcer !!

This is just not a case of A loss of form

More a case of lack of any belief, both in the game plan, and personal ability. :(

In THIS instance - Alan Hanson has been proved RIGHT - You Win nowt, with kids !
