I'd be surprised if Sky don't pick a game from League 2, there will be nothing clashing with it and it's looking like a lot will be to play for on the last day. They've got some potentially big last day fixtures with something on it for both sides:
    - Barrow vs Stevenage
    - Us vs Orient
    - Harrogate vs Rochdale
    - Stockport vs Hartlepool
    - Sutton vs Carlisle
    - Swindon vs Crawley

Approximately 7.5% of games end 0-0 so we are a bit above that average but a 0-0 against Walsall is hardly surprising then they've drawn 7 of their last 8 and this was their 4th 0-0 in that period, they also have a good defensive record with them joint 2nd best defense in the league with us.

We'll see. We weren't getting anything against Stevenage or Colchester, but came out with a full haul.

I'll happily take the point but just felt we could have made changes sooner and maybe gone after it in the last quarter. Some players were looking tired and leggy and we looked nothing like the "form" team. Just my opinion of course and I'm more than happy with our total points haul from the last few games.

Pretty certain you'd have thought we'd get nothing from Salford, Mansfield & Stevenage away plus Colchester...? :eyes:

Odd response Sergio? I named those teams in response to your insinuation that we'll get nothing against the 4 teams in & around the promotion mix, and you have replied with that...strange

How many points did we take off the 4 I mentioned in the previous games? 1pt. We need to play far better or it will be 1 point again.

City have been dire for years and a big problem is fans accepting poor performances because we scrape a point at midtable dross.

It’s obvious that the home form has been dross and that’s largely because we’ve not imposed ourselves on the game early enough, content with faffing about in our own half, achieving nothing and then panicking at 75mins realising we’re gonna lose or draw yet again.
The away form has been fantastic and although last night was disappointing, there’s only Burnley who’ve got more points on their travels in the entire EFL.
If the away form carries on as is, and we win 5 of our remaining home games we’ll be in the top 3

But it's not about performances this stage of the season as those two results showed a return of 4 points from the two games 3 points at home 1 point away I'd suggest that sort of form would get us an auto place.
I don't have a problem with that sort of return for the rest of the season, plus as you suggest we are looking a good unit at the back

For clarity, I don’t castigate individuals as everyone has different reasons for non attendance on any given matchday.
I do question the fanbase as a whole though that only 3% of it (20k) has the means and motive.
    Debate over, move on….

We are where we are and a point away against a team that ship very little is a good one. Unfortunately we just know that after Newport we will struggle to beat Hartlepool etc in our home games. Last nights tactics have brought us success away this season at home they work much less well and I don’t think Hughes will change to a more positive mindset it’s not in his DNA

Did I say you castigated individuals, you've more faces than the Town Hall clock, you regularly make assumptions that when we get an away following that you think isn't good enough you have a pop about fellow fans, even mentioning away games like Villa, debate over move on.....

A draw away at this stage of the season is not a bad result, I have been saying within my group of friends that the Leyton Orient game could turn out to be the decisive game of the season. This division is predictable year after year, anyone can beat anyone and consistency is one of the key factors to determine how teams perform. The results of the teams in and out of the top 3 and in playoff spots show this, there is really only one team that is consistent and we play them on the last day of the season.

I've never understood why going to lots of away games is considered something to be proud of. It's like expecting a pat on the back for going on lots of holidays. Fans try to dress it up as some noble pursuit but it's actually just an indulgence.

Cooks should have gone in and Walker should have hit the target twice. Banks free kick was abysmal. We had more chances than Colchester. Funny game footy.

I think he meant that we had more chances in the Walsall game than the Colchester game.
