I can’t believe that some people feel they have to justify to an anonymous poster on a football forum
why they can’t get to a lge2 football match in Walsall on a Tuesday night.

It’s got absolutely fu@k all to do with anybody else why people choose to go or not to go.
I’ve had a season ticket for nearly 40years but
I missed a home game at Xmas because I just couldn’t be arsed.

I expect a visit from the “Uber fan” police imminently.

I shall be watching on i follow but to please the Uber fans I shall tell my Mrs that I’m going to sit where I want and then of course stand up during the entire match, as apparently that’s what your meant to do at an away match these days.

 

I'm hoping he goes with an unchanged team from the 3 0 Colchester win.

 

Working Wednesday morning and up at 5:00am, would I take 2 hours sleep and off to work if it was a big important game?
Most likely, but for your standard league two away game.. I’ll stick to iFollow, save myself the money and have some sanity at work Wednesday…

 

Decent point but a frustrating performance. Defensively very good, not lacking in effort but very much lacking in quality. Far too sloppy, summed up by the moment about 5 mins from time when Banks overhit a simple layoff for the overlapping Halliday and generally personified by the lively but largely useless Costelloe.

 

We are currently 2 points off autos, unbeaten away since boxing day I.E this year, unbeaten in 4 and lost once in our last 10 and seriously thats the take you want to go for?

Put some perspective on it. Four games, ten points, three of them away from home, no goal conceded. That's title winning form in anyone's book. So what if their keeper had a night off. We took a point and have now lost once in in ten conceding four goals and are joint second in the league 2 form table over that period. Six of the ten games being away from home.

Get a grip.

 

Who cares (apart from you two) go to Walsall sing your hearts out and bring back three points, stop bitching about what other fans should do, if you're happy to go to the likes of Walsall, Swindon, Crawley, midweek great good on ya but do stop having a go at fans who don't or can't for what ever reason.

 

So what? People are more motivated to go to games when there is a lot riding on them. Well, fancy that! Who knew?

I personally think all players being subbed should look slightly pissed off.

Even more so if you are captain.

But there’s a big difference between a player being annoyed and then trying to turn it into something else.

 

Totally agree unfortunately at times there are circumstances that don't allow attending midweek or Saturday games come to that, you and I know bringing a family up and paying the bills comes first, although in the past our lass has missed a payment at Lingards to get the brass for me to follow City to an away game .

 

Absolutely right.

When I was young and working with money to burn, before being married, I went everywhere with City. Once married and families arrive, bills to pay and mortgages to fund life takes on a different meaning. It was mostly away games that lost out!
