Agree with you completely. Banks’s free kick summed it up last night. Not forcing the keeper to make a save was ludicrous. Ive wained my enthusiasm for him thus no need for a cheeky bid imho. He needs to show and do a lot more. Their right sided lad, Knowles , showed him how to be an effective wide(er) player last night.

How do I access this iFollow thing?
Last night was dull, although it’s another point away from home.
It was freezing cold, not a single shot on target. I envy those of you who could just shut your laptop and go to bed.

Put some perspective on it. Four games, ten points, three of them away from home, no goal conceded. That's title winning form in anyone's book. So what if their keeper had a night off. We took a point and have now lost once in in ten conceding four goals and are joint second in the league 2 form table over that period. Six of the ten games being away from home.

    Get a grip.

Sure we've had this debate before. Hitting the woodwork isn't on target because the target is the bit inside. It's like hitting the rim of a dart board.

That said, did Walsall do any better ? The only thing that counts is hitting the target but missing the keepr.

To be fair they had a couple of decent shots from outside the area. First half, Lewis saved quickly and well to his left at his near post - decent shot I'd say - then there was the longer range right footed effort - easier save. Second half the tricky shot that bounced right in front on him and came through a crowd of players- very good handling that, could easily have bounced out.

Just reflecting back on the challenge/non-penalty against Cook having seen the penalty Plymouth got against Derby.

Good grief. The inconsistency is ridiculous.

Not sure why you think Walsall were there for the taking, out of interest? Despite their mid-table position they are generally a pretty solid side, and they are second-placed in the table for draws. They didn't have a game midweek last week, we had to travel to Gillingham

We weren't at our best, and they brought the game to us. A point is more than ok in hindsight

I don't remember the penalty appeal against Cook?

    When was that?

    Didn't go, didn't listen, didn't watch. Looks like I didn't miss much.

Reading these forums and knowing of Walsall's resolute defense, I'll take a point. After all, we ain't exactly an outstanding team

Yeah, I've already been on Stevenage's forum (saddo lol) and they're already watching the results elsewhere - ours and Stockport last night.

Everybody watching each other, no doubt, but like you say, it's more important what we do.

Not really you castigate your fellow fans who don't make the effort to drive 240 miles round trip to Walsall midweek, but you have my respect, it was a poor watch but its all about results, on the night IMO walsall were the bester team.

Don't get any of this gloom over last nights result. We got a point away from home without actually playing well and kept another clean sheet. Wallsall have only lost 4 of their past 20 + games, drawing a lot, 9 without a win. It is usually us that break those type of runs.
All this on the back of 3 out of the last 4 games away from home, 1 of those a slog down to Gillingham, where the players from the North east, did not get home until 6 in the morning, after arriving back in Bradford at about 4ish.
10 points from the last 4 matches is a good return and similar over the next 4 will probably see us in the auto's. Onward's and upwards.

Last night result was easily forecast a blunt attack against a mean defence. A good point unfortunately though I don’t think we will qualify for the automatic positions unless we show much more attacking intent at home

Not so sure, other teams are not on such a good run as us, we have pulled back about 14 points on Stevenage in the past few games. A month ago , you could have said playoffs at best, now we have a chance of the automatics.
Saturday is big, if we can get a win at Newport. Salford at Crewe friday, Mansfield v Orient, Swindon v Carlise, Stevenage have Wallsall, Stockport at Colchester and form team Sutton , just outside the playoffs are at Barrow.
Results will not all go our way, we just need to keep gathering the points.
The Carlisle home game could be massive.

Back to work, tea break over, but feeling far more confident about this season than i was at the end of January.
Lets be positive for a change, i feel we have finally stopped and started to turn around the oil tanker, that is Bradford City.

A reasonable point away from home and we’ve now equalled last season’s points total of 58 with 12 games to go. Automatic is on if we’re bold enough to go for it.

I cant recall a season where we have had 58 points by GW 34! People should be bouncing! I know i am, people just love a moan on BT :joy:

EDIT: just took a look at the 16/17 season where we got to the playoffs we had 55 points at GW 34…

    don’t understand this moaning attitude…
