I will support MY CLUB its not Edins or Rupps as I like many was here before they came and will be when they go but if they expect me and others to keep silent at games when it goes tits up they can think again.

 

'Just watch' indeed. That's what I'm suggesting. ;-)

 

It's not about not having a voice. There are ways to go about things and at this moment in time I'm not sure what any of you hope to achieve by turning VP into a pit of negativity for the first game of the season.

The coach is the coach we've got, he wouldn't have been my choice but it wasn't my decision, it was Edin's, and it will be on him if it goes wrong.

But turning up to the first game protesting about some hypothetical future that may or may not come about is not for me.

 

That may well be well past the point of no return for some. But if we have this young coaching staff (Abbo excepted) and young team playing with passion and potential, who's to say we won't be able to see something worth sticking with.

 

It's the lies that have got me angry . The 7 weeks " search : the calibre of the candidates. Nobody bought into is dream , i love my club but these clowns are pulling it apart bit by bit . I have nothing against the new coach, and i will support the team , but i reserve the right to detest the owners.

 

Nobody on this thread is arguing with you about that. Support the team on the pitch and hope for the sake of the club it works.

 

Lets re visit this post after 10 league games to see where we are.

 

Success is not a given, even with the best coaches. These guys are footballing men and each knows what the fans want, so give 'em a chance. They are all in it together and will learn fast.Edin will need to listen and work WITH them to make it work and I believe he does want to make a go of it, so the next incoming recruits will demonstrate the new philosophy I guess. Anyway, a new start, a new campaign and all to fight for..not worth throwing too many toys out of the old pram yet.

 

I am continually amazed by Edin's continued ability to exceed even my expectations of what he'll pull next.

is @Jimmylivesnextdoor still organising a protest, because I am all in.

we have to do something, we cant continue to sit and watch this egomaniac ruin the club.

He just doesn't give a f**k whw he annoys in his mission to complete all tasks in football manager.

A protest? Like that’ll happen.

So much hot air talk by people on here. I can’t remember the last proper protest at City (I’m talking a few hundred fans at least taking part), so would be interesting to see if anyone can actually organise one. Doubt it.

 

Agree, we all to take a deep breath. The club now needs to keep its senior players like Romain and NKP and then find a Gary Jones type character as a leader on match days. Good luck to Michael, young coaches have to be given the opportunity or we will only have the same old merrygoround of journeymen managers to choose from.

sadly his 6 months gardening leave will mean he can't tell us the truth.

 

At the time I couldn’t get enough people who were prepared to actually protest. However after the events of the last 24hrs that could quite possibly change. I think in reality though most of those I approached will still be of the opinion “let’s wait and see”.

To be honest my actual anger towards the owners has subsided. I’m actually in a place now where I’m more upset and disappointed with what’s going on than angry. I find the whole situation very sad at the moment and part of that is down to not being surprised at all with what’s happened.

As others have said, Edin has now firmly placed his head on the chopping block with this appointment. If we’re bottom six come October then things will start to get very unpleasant down at the Valley. Then again the players may buy into what Collins and co want to do and we could be top six, who knows.

I’m still of the opinion that Rahic and Rupp are not the answer and that ultimately their philosophy will not work. The question is just how much will Bradford City suffer before they sell up and piss off.
