I will support MY CLUB its not Edins or Rupps as I like many was here before they came and will be when they go but if they expect me and others to keep silent at games when it goes tits up they can think again.

OK - I walked away from my Lap top for an hour or so. And the dust has now settled - I think !!
Firstly - I was greeted with a wry smile from my Liverpool supporting SPA Manageress, earlier. All I could muster was a poor shrug of the shoulders.
Secondly - BCAFC is our (the Fans) Club, not Edins !
And with that, the Club will continue to have my unwavering support, including the Coaching staff.
Thirdly - The first time City get a thumping on Home soil, I would hope that any chants of "You don't know what you're doing !!" are aimed at Edin, and not the Coaching team.
Finally - The decision has been made, Recruitment is ongoing, and we haven't lost a game - yet ! So let's all try and pull together and support our Club from the off, rather than throw the towel in prematurely. :thumbsup:Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Get behind the new guy and be there on the first day of the season to support the team, whatever you think of it all. That's the right thing to do at this moment in time. What are you going to protest about when the league table reads W0, L0, points 0.

You've no proof that he's destroying the club. As it stands more has been invested by this lot, out of their own pockets, in the last two seasons than the previous two
Of course, you've decided that the new coach is rubbish because of his history etc. There are plenty of coaches who became the best in their divisions, who started off with as just as much of a moderate background
Frankly, I found fault with every coach mentioned for the job and yes I do find fault with this one - but he needs until the end of January before we make a firm judgement
It might be an inspired choice
It might be the worst appointment ever
Let's please see, by what goes on the pitch and judge from there

The coach is the coach we've got, he wouldn't have been my choice but it wasn't my decision, it was Edin's, and it will be on him if it goes wrong.
But turning up to the first game protesting about some hypothetical future that may or may not come about is not for me.Kitchen sink, Seasideman, Jam and 5 others like this. -

Collins has 1yr of experience and no results to prove he’d be a success. Don’t get me wrong- I’m not against promoting from within. Liverpool did it for years from their ‘boot room’, but all promotions were based on delivering further down the pyramid and not just being able to talk the talk.
Look at how Jewell came from under Kammie’s shadow to lead us to the Premier League. But the point being, he had been given experience in coaching the first team and being a number2 first.
We have been linked with u23 managers from other (top) clubs and I wouldn’t have been against them if they had a track record of developing players.
But Collins DOES NOT...!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Edin could kick you in the bollocks and you still wouldn't say a bad word about him. That's why he thinks he can get away with it all as some fans just blindly back him regardless.Bronco, Shipley69, BoingBoing and 3 others like this. -
The fact that he said he wanted a Head Coach that can develop kids ready for 1st team football, you’d expect him to have had some experience if doing this? This guy hasn’t.
The fact that he said we’d had lots of good applicants and had reduced this down to 2, then further delays were made, indicating it wasn’t originally someone in house.
Sorry, but Rahic is a liar, has learned feck all, clearly is egotistical (and don’t dare ask for proof) and is clearly trying to do this on the cheap.
FFS, this fella hasn’t even got experience of working UNDER a Head Coach or Manager and has been fast-tracked to the job.
At least Hockaday had a CV. What the hell did Collins have on his CV???

I am continually amazed by Edin's continued ability to exceed even my expectations of what he'll pull next.
is @Jimmylivesnextdoor still organising a protest, because I am all in.
we have to do something, we cant continue to sit and watch this egomaniac ruin the club.punk bantam, Onside, Goose and 2 others like this. -
Are we allowed to get our pitchforks out yet or is it still too early for the uber positive amongst us?
As I said in another thread, we all laughed at Leeds under Cellino, when he appointed Hockaday. Success is not a given, even with the best coaches. These guys are footballing men and each knows what the fans want, so give 'em a chance. They are all in it together and will learn fast.Edin will need to listen and work WITH them to make it work and I believe he does want to make a go of it, so the next incoming recruits will demonstrate the new philosophy I guess. Anyway, a new start, a new campaign and all to fight for..not worth throwing too many toys out of the old pram yet.
