    The only logical explanation I can think of is that Doyle and Vaughan were disrupting the atmosphere in the dressing room.

    If we see a completely different City tomorrow then it’s a stroke of genius.

    This unrest with the players and the fans is all directed towards one man and one man only. You'd think Rupp has learnt how toxic and damaging a figure like this could be.

    To keep harmony, and increase our chances of on-field success this season, Bowyer should be relieved of his duties. Another club with some balls would have made that decision by now.

    But no, we resort to shipping out the best striker in the league, who said manager makes look useless, and our captain, marquee signing and top scorer, who puts in 100% every week with next to nothing to work with.

    Not only this, but replacing them with a complete donkey who last played for Billericay fecking Town, just because he's a bit big.

    It's an embarrassment of the highest order and the club should be ashamed of themselves.

    He's fumbling around in the dark, hoping for the best. He needs to go he's lost the plot. He's just going from week to week with his fingers crossed. I want a man in charge who leads and actually has a plan and a strategy to take the team forward. Not a Charlatan hoping to stumble across a formula. Absolutely Pathetic state of affairs.

    If Vaughan is refusing to train and play or either of those then good riddance.
    Couldn’t care less who the manager is, you do not do that. There is always a right way to go about it and he sounds like he has previous in this area aswell.

    No one is bigger than the club and they have made the right choice getting rid if that’s the case

    Remember the last striker we loaned out. That went well didn't it. The club needs to pull some good news out of the bag cos at the moment the mood around the club is filthy.

    All of the above is exactly what the club should be investing in. The club is a complete mess. Forget on the pitch its time we look off it to see where the true underlying problems come from. No medium or long term vision. The only thing worse than a bad plan is no plan.

    No other team in the country would get rid of goalscorers like Doyle and Vaughan half way though the season when sat on the edge of the playoffs.

    Gonna reserve judgement until I see who the replacements are. To be honest neither are really working for me in a (dire) Bowyer team so if Bowyer is staying then I get the reasons.

    Loaning you’re skipper though is just bizarre and shows there is unrest in the camp.

    Wouldnt be suprised at this. Vaughan is quality at this level but he has the same issue as Doyle, chasing hoofs, no service . No point
