Vaughan and Doyle gone

Not even about that, it's about competent leadership.

Bowyer has been unable to produce adequate results from Doyle and Vaughan - unfortunately for him, Doyle has caught the eye of the footballing world, and Vaughan is easily our top scorer despite the abysmal performances under Bowyer - on that basis alone, Vaughan has to stay.

With Bowyer unable to manage our best players, it's up to the ownership to deal with that issue.

The wrong way to deal with the issue is to oust our top performing striker, and a forward who's scored for fun at a rival club (that they loaned him to, in the same division).

It's error after error after error, and at the heart of it is Bowyer's bad management.

There's only one person that should be leaving this club, it's the one of least long-term value. Gary Bowyer.

 

Rhodes and Rupp or Doyle and Vaughan?

 

It genuinely is.

The club have failed to manage the mood of the support prior to today, and that is now the foundations of today's actions - which have caused a level of anger among the fanbase that I can't remember us ever rivalling?

So Hendrie-gate killed Rahic.

Don't be in denial that Doyle and Vaughan-gate can slay Rhodes and Rupp.

Hendrie was irrelevant. Doyle and Vaughan, far from it.

You simply cannot upset the apple cart. So unless Doyle and Vaughan are hated by everyone at the club, there's no way out of this.

It's the stupidest thing I've heard - you don't take a turd on the heads of the squad, end of.

 

This unrest with the players and the fans is all directed towards one man and one man only. You'd think Rupp has learnt how toxic and damaging a figure like this could be.

To keep harmony, and increase our chances of on-field success this season, Bowyer should be relieved of his duties. Another club with some balls would have made that decision by now.

But no, we resort to shipping out the best striker in the league, who said manager makes look useless, and our captain, marquee signing and top scorer, who puts in 100% every week with next to nothing to work with.

Not only this, but replacing them with a complete donkey who last played for Billericay fecking Town, just because he's a bit big.

It's an embarrassment of the highest order and the club should be ashamed of themselves.

Gary Bowyer wouldn't get value for money out of Lionel Messi even if he was playing for free.

 

How many other clubs would like to have Doyle and Vaughan in their attacking line-ups?
As for Vaughan being of strong character with plenty to say. Did Bowyer not know that?
Bowyer will have to pluck a bloody big rabbit out of the hat or he’s gonna get some real flak. He’s served up crap, recruited poorly, is unable to get a tune out of Vaughan or the country’s top scorer and all with a near top of the division budget. Lucky for him we don’t have an owner who knows owt or cares. What a friggin shambles.

To see who the replacements are... if Spearing and Grigg were to come in, would the vitriol be as bad as it is now?

I’m hoping the club have something lined up, if not then I’ll be cheesed off too, but until I see what the outcome is I won’t throw my toys out of the pram just yet.

Makes no difference to recalling a striker with 23 goals in 22 games elsewhere, any striker will struggle to score under Bowyer in this set up

 

Unfortunately history has shown that we fcuk until the last minute, and take more time ensuring the topping on the pizza is correct, instead of signing the right player! True to form, expect us to be scratching around at the last minute, while Doyle and Vaughan are already posing for press photos with their new clubs.
If we fail to get in replacements of the same calibre, then that’s it. No promotion, no respect.
