Former Swindon Town loan striker Eoin Doyle is expected to be left out of Bradford City's squad for their match against Cheltenham tonight. He's expected to leave Bradford before the end of the transfer window.

I seem to remember our little debate with regards Doyle, you saying he wasn't the striker for City and letting him go to Swindon was a good move.
If we get a fee and get rid his wages you should be a happy fan ?.

Matt Rhead is a strange one if true, but Grigg and especially Spering would be good signings.

Well unless we’ve hijacked Shrewsbury’s bid for Grigg which seems unlikely. The only sticking point allegedly is the amount Shrewsbury are prepared to pay towards his wages. Fleetwood wanted him but Stewart Donald didn’t want to do business with Joey Barton due to his constant antagonistic attitude.

As for Spearing there is more chance of Stuart McCall coming back as a player

Cannot see Spearing and Grigg rocking up here, dont know where those rumours come from, as for Rhead, surely not?

You can just hear the lies now, (Mr Bowyer, it was a difficult transfer window and the right players just weren’t available, we have a strong team that I’m happy with).

You are selling the family silver Mr Bowyer, just walk.

But imagine GB being sacked and Rhodes interviewing new management candidate, in his best Jim Bowen voice...... Here's what you could have had....

It's going to take something of that magnitude to appease the natives...

    Will Buckley apparently.

Someone released from the non league who can car share with Matt Rhead is more likely.

Just a thought, but there’s some indication that ourKaiyne Woolery may be leaving.

I have no idea where these are coming from either, why would Blackpool let their captain go? He does only have 6 months left on his contract though. As per Grigg, I'd rather have Danny Rose from what I saw at the weekend, he's out of contract in 6 months too and gets up really well for a small guy, was a constant menace against us as well.

That Doyle failed under the same circumstances as he failed last time isn't a surprise, no.

That Doyle went away and scored more goals than the number of games he played in was, however, a big surprise to me, clear indication that we should be demanding more output from him.

But it's not isolated, is it? It's not simply a case of moving on a failed top scorer, it's moving on our TWO best strikers AT THE SAME TIME, LATE in January, NO forward planning, NO replacement for tonight's game if Donaldson's comments about suddenly starting are to be taken seriously, and NO resignation from the manager who can't get a goal out of the most on form striker in the country.

Extremely poor management, extremely poor club ownership, extremely poor leadership throughout the club, and it will have consequences.

We are linking ourselves with other team's first choice players because we're letting our own first choice players go, and the assumption has to be we aren't the only stupid club ready to commit seasonal suicide in late January.

    But we probably are.

Another angle of this mentioned to me yesterday, is the two players are extremely unpopular in the dressing room, and team moral would be much improved if they left the club.

The other big problem we now have, is that teams we are trying to sign from know that we're desperate, and may have some cash in the bank from the Doyle sale. They are just going to be pushing the prices up and holding out because they have the cards on their side, not us! It really is like ground hog day. I remember feeling happy when GB came in and said that he'll be looking to get transfers done as soon as possible, and utilise two maybe three windows to get the squad he wants.

Yet here we are again, losing not one, but two of our main strikers, without a pot to piss in and seemingly no plan what do do. Factor in the atmosphere coming from the stands, then this is a momumental *@?$ up from all involved at the club.

The way to appease fans, would be to announce those two leaving, but in the same sentence say, don't worry, we've got these two players of equal/better quality coming in.
