The fact that that's all bollocks is probably the biggest issue.

There isn't one, that's the wider issue but the answer certainly isn't Farage.

I know quite a few people who would vote for the Reform party. I do like their leader Richard Tice.

The faux outrage on social media over Nigel Farage being in the latest series of I'm a celebrity is absolutely delicious. As much as i don't watch it, i very rarely watch TV other than for sport, i hope it wins it, the thoughts of prominent people on twitter seething into their oatmilk lattes has me laughing my tits off.

Suella has made Mad Nads look sane.
Absolutely ripped him a new one and confirmed what alot of us already knew. He will say anything and promise anything just to get himself the top job.

Tories are heading to complete oblivion with Sunak in charge. A snap poll shows then 30 points down after this cabinet reshuffle.

350+ MPs and he needs to go outside that to find a Foreign Secretary and he has no prisons minister.

A shitshow doesn't even cover what the party is these days.

Not sure i've ever seen such a shitshow in politics. Each to their own when it comes to voting but anyone who lays their vote with the conservatives now is a disgrace. Huge problem they have is there is no one in the party actually worth a position in office, there are no replacements.
Heck, Labour ain't much better but need to be power sooner rather than later because this ain't funny anymore, its actually quite tragic the state of politics in this country.

Remember when Sunak last year was saying it was out of the government's control when inflation was skyrocketing but now it has come down it's down to him it seems.

They are just taking the piss out of us at the moment.

So the government has lost in it's appeal to the Rwanda policy. Millions squanded for no return and if Suella is to be believed Sunak has no plan B.

So after claiming the government lowered inflation (which it didn't have any control over) it has failed in another of Sunak's pledges that it is supposed to have control over, however it was clear from day 1 on this policy it wouldn't work because you can't just ignore international law otherwise you are no better than North Korea or Russia.

Good, I'm glad, plan was a disaster, we send 200 illegals and they send us 200 needing NHS treatment.....
Hope plan B involves gunboats ....

There is no plan B. That's what Suella was saying, Sunak wasn't even entertaining a plan B. His plan A was unworkable and just designed to kick the can down the road but this is where the can stops.

Yet countries like Hungary and Poland openly challenge the EU with regards who THEY will allow over their borders, irrelevant of the ECHR.

Well it's an excuse they can all point to, to make it look like their hands are tied, when it reality they probably have no interest or ambition to stop the boats anyhow.

If Sunak can point to something and claim that is stopping him he can effectively claim he has been stopped by red tape. However I seem to remember us leaving the EU would secure our boarders, how's that working out. So why should be believe leaving the ECHR would make a difference?

Of course it was never going to work and didn't even comply with UK laws. It was convenient to blame Human Rights legislation - most of which was drafted by the Brits - but that was a Cruella smokescreen. Our Supreme Court has now confirmed that the Rwanda plan is at odds with UK law.

Had we not decided to abandon the Dublin Agreement to return asylum seekers to France etc, we could have used that to at least return some boat people back across the channel. But Johnson thought differently and preferred to cut every link with the EU irrespective of its impact on the UK. Maybe the solution is to try and negotiate with the EU on a new Dublin Agreement to replace the one we abandoned. Fat chance!
