No, won't be Rooney but wouldn't shock me if it's not Roy Keane if he doesn't get the Celtic job.

    And?

    Point is?

What you have to understand is Derby as a club are in a mess. As long as he keeps them up then job done.

Also his name will just get him jobs anyway.

I reckon you've said something along those lines between January and May on every incarnation of a City forum since the original message board closed down.

Strange move appointing Bowyer, even if short term. He's a dinosaur. They would have been better putting Ian Henderson in charge, or getting Bernard & Johnno back until May.

I agree, he could be seat warming for Rooney. Makes sense on every level. Big name appointment, buddies with the owners, could attract better players. Not sure about Keane though, he would be like having Joey Barton in charge of a drunk teenagers party

Funnily enough I'm agreeing with @Fordy117@Fordy117. Lately I feel TS does feel a bit like bowyer ball. they have only got two points from 12 and we never know where we end up come end of the season. Just a thought.

Bowyer wasn’t given a lot of time at city , he will have less time at Salford , but I think there’s a good manager somewhere in there , he has a good chance to get Salford in play offs with the players at his disposal

I've raised a question on the Culture and Identity topic, but do we know what T&S's preferred style and formation is? What did they set teams up when they were successful with the yoof team?
They've played the current formation based on the the team we have, which is a mix of players recruited over God knows how many managers. They've tried to get round pegs in round holes and by doing so fixing major issues like our leaky defence and the way we always seemed to collapse in games.
We don't know what their preferred style and formation is - we can guess based on their years with the youngsters. But if they did want to play a more attractive attacking style I wouldn't bet against them making changes to the team in the summer. We saw how the dead wood was shifted in January. I think we will be just as ruthless once this season is over.
