It’s good for a change that the club hold the cards, happy to go along with whatever Sparks decides. Compared to only 2 months ago we are a far more attractive proposition thanks to these two lads but also Sparks and the recruitment team. I’d expect Bradford City to be one of if not the most attractive job in this division next season if it’s available, makes a pleasant change.

But if we'd recruited Ryan Lowe and we'd had this run youd be jerkimg yourself off. These two are the real deal.

Is that up to the point at which another club (let's say in League 1) recognises what a great job T&S are doing at VP and makes them an offer they'd struggle to refuse?

T&S have so far come through all the tests with flying colours. The job is effectively theirs to lose as it stands.
But there's no rush to put pen to paper. Neither of them is going anywhere. Despite the fear of being poached by another club, they're still rookie managers, so I'd be amazed if a club came in for them after only 10 games in the role.
They seem happy with the current situation and so does Ryan, so why push it?
Since Parky left, with the exception of Collins, every appointment has been rushed. The only one that has worked was Stuart's second stint until Rahic undermined him. Even his third stint was a panic move to appease fans. So, I'm pleased we're not making any snap decisions.
There's still a lot of football to be played until the end of the season. Let's see how the rest of the season pans out before we need to make a call about who'll be in charge for next season.

The Bradford City Way, like a lower league West Ham Way (whatever that is)

I agree, the present set up works for everyone. I've said it before but at the start of December, being first team managers of a football league team would not have been anywhere on T&S's radar. They were thrust into the job out of nowhere - no way could they have seen it coming when Stuart had just been given a contract extension, and no way could they have ever imagined at that time that it would have been anything more than a handful of games until a new manager was appointed. Yet, here we are in February with them still in charge and doing a fantastic job. I think it is right and fair they have been given the time to consider if this is what they want going forward; I don't want them to take the job permanently out of some sort of sense of duty, I want them to be appointed because it is something they truly want. Also, the current arrangement works well for Sparks. The last thing he would have needed was to have given them the job permanently after the first 4 or 5 games and then for things to have gone t!ts up. Would not have looked good on him at all after the contract extension mistake with McCall.

No need to aplogise @Bronco@Bronco thats all part of a forum and good healthy debate. It would be a poorer forum if we all agreed on every aspect of BCFC.
You've put your case forward in a well thought and non-aggresive or confrontational (sic) way☺
Firstly I agree that Parky left McCall with the spine of a good team to build from.
I also don't wish to take away what Parkinson did for the club. He stopped it falling into obscurity. But I still believe some of the failings post-Rahic have their roots in the Parky/Rhodes era.
In repect to the managers you've cited it's intetesting that in the cases of Revie, Clough, Furguson and Wenger. None of these clubs have reached the heights they did under these managers. The possible exception was Liverpool who recruited internally right through to the 80's. So that could be seen as taking the 'Shankly way' and continuing it. But from the end of the 80's....
As for Klopp and Pep, well lets see what happens when these two leave their respective clubs. Could we see another Arsenal/Man Utd situation where the manager becomes bigger than the club itself? Only time will tell.

I still doubt that he truly left for that reason. Ok, he might have met Rahic a couple of times and not taken a liking to him, but it was the closed season, no action at the club and he never even tried to build a relationship with either. Parkinson left because of a combination of things, partly this, partly because he probably thought he could only go downwards in his reputation here and partly because Bolton offered him more money.

Why would they go to a club that sack a manager after just two months. They are in freefall, have had two managers in a short space of time and have furloughed players to reduce their squad.

Basket case of a club !!!

Alternatively, people could just stop speculating and trust that the announcement will be made when everyone involved is good and ready.

There are fans on here who were desperate for us to sign Paul Hurst. Experienced doesn't always mean best. We've been there SO many times before. New ideas, new thinking. That's what we need - and right now, that's what we're getting. Halle-bloody-lujah.
