It's a meh signing for me (if true). A Clarke whom last season was plying his trade against some of the worst teams in the professional ladder whoms stats were not too bad at this level. At the end of the day, we too are one of the poorest teams on the professional ladder, so this potential signing has to be taken in context. The last time here, he was plying his trade against superior opposition.....

It's more a meh, as, as a club we seem to be steadily going backwards as a football club. Clarke whilst not the problem specifically is synonymous with the direction of the club.

This is a lazy signing and one which doesn’t smack promotion side to me. Clarke was not bad the first time around here but always felt he wasn’t a striker and wasn’t quite a number 10 and we were fitting him in with little other options.

Club has no ambition bla bla bla. As mccall is making the signings why not back him as opposed to constantly sniping? McCall will have no credibility left... laughable. McCall will always have a place at the heart of this club. If this is what Stuart wants back him and the club. Moaning gets you nowhere. If you’re proven right fair enough but you can’t separate the club and the manager over recruitment.
