Interesting stats but your right because I've seen him play for City before that's my mindset, he was poor and those stats belong to his career at Grimsby.

 

You should be happy with the likes of Clarke, Devine, McMahon, Doyle coming back, they might take us down then we can start rebuilding from non league for a brighter future.

Clarke isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I personally like him as a player. His stats last season look better than I expected too.

The problem here, is this is a typical bradford city signing. Cheap, lives local, "loves the club" and is in Stuart's phonebook on speed dial. No creativity, no imagination, no scouting, nothing. The exact problems that has been the root cause of our shambolic recruitment over the last 5 windows.

 

He'd probably stay on his feet longer than Clarke if he didn't use it

 

Be happy with Clarke, he’s an excellent footballer. He wasn’t his best in his second spell, but name 1 player who was in that period of time after Rahics wrecking ball had fecked us up?

Heavy pitches don’t suit him but I’d rather have Clarke in and around the starting 11 then some of the clowns we’ve had the past 3 years.

 

I thought he was a passenger at times under Parky yes some odd good things but lost possession far too often and easily.

 

Wouldn’t we all more tongue in cheek at our likely ‘strategy’ for the season ahead. Tbf I always liked Clarke, but he looked like his legs had gone last time he was here. But so did a lot of the players in that squad, we do need players that can actually play with the ball on the grass so that’s one positive over the players from last season.
