Are we still blaming Richmond for our downfall early 20 years later? News flash - we have spent 2 seasons in the top flight and a further 9 seasons in the Championship since the end of WW2.

We can thank Richmond for the majority of the above. We can't blame him for our current situation. It is simply the Bradford City way if history is proof of anything.

What a fantastic signing that is. He will be like Davies was for us in this league. If he stays fit I imagine he will be skipper for them too. A real signing to build a defence around.

That’s a signing which gets teams to sit and take note. And not like a duff journeyman striker who you can get at a similar age dropping down. He will be a real leader. Mega jealous we weren’t in for him. Saw him for Preston in the cup game last season vs us as he made it look easy

"ITK" twitter account is reporting Vaughan is around for the long haul. Which is good!

when have we ever done well with signings that looked good. if you get your hopes up with this team you'll probably end up disappointed 9 times out of 10.

id rather be pleasantly surprised than let down again.

A very serious euro millions roll over and i would give it a good go. Heading towards 60 now , dont need the money so i would use it to try and imprvoe the city of my birth through investment, without wanting financial return. It is a trait that most people have forgotten, it,s all about what is in it for me.

I'd like to see us go for someone like harry Pell at colchester, 6 ft 4 dominant centre mid. Its exactly what we need if were wanting to be able to play a number 10 like billy clarke

the manager is the least of my worries park, my worries come from the man at the top. Very little in terms of leadership making its way down the ladder to the management team.

The principle's of Rahic's plan were sound. The execution was very flawed. Not helped by him being a total loon.

It’s why I couldn’t be bothered with a serious reply, no answer just hope to get lucky like we did with Parky.

In 18/19 season we could have taken a million of what was one of the highest budgets in the league, had a mid table budget invested in proper sports science, coaching and scouting to put together a proper squad with one identity and style of play. It would have done far better.

Parkys football wasn’t easy on the eye, but he was consistent, and had the right network and coaching staff. He brought them to the club not Rhodes, which is why before and after Parkys reign we have been garbage baring one season in 15, which of course Rhodes wasn’t even at the club then!

I don't know where this rumour about Vaughan leaving has come from and even whether there is any truth to it at all. But if he really does leave VP, it has nothing to do with the new salary cap. It might be that the club wants to save a few quid for its own purposes but I hope they don't try and spin it that it's a consequence of the salary cap.

Im fairly certain Vaughan won't be leaving this season. Rumours would have been circulating by now. Plus the state of the economy and the clubs who can buy won't be buying a 32 yr old!

Vaughan scored goals in a team Doyle couldn’t as for Connolly he is probably the quickest player I have ever seen yes he had a few poor games but in some he was almost unplayable and would be a decent signing but I don’t think he will return

Moving high earners on certainly won't have a bearing on the salary cap. But of course and depending on how it is done, it will help the owner's finances. That might be more important to him.

Watt and Cooke has potential, I think we might play a midfield 3 so would like to see an experienced head in the Jones/Spearing mould come in. Someone to lead the young heads through games when things aren’t going are way, and who will get stuck in when needed. Funny how our front line needs some youth and legs, but the midfield is totally opposite.

AOC was the best centre half by a country mile last season. Made some amends for the itchy armband of the season before.

BRE isn’t good enough. Clumsy. Always prone to a mistake.

POC is potentially a very good player. Problem with modern day centre halves is they’re trained to try and play like a Baresi / Koeman centre half play maker. League 2 is not the place for that. Row Z will do most of the time. He gets knocked off the ball too easily, but he’s got potential
