That's a good shout actually, there's also the fact his parent club Wolverhampton are still playing out the remainder of the season.
Technically Watt could still be used highly unlikely but that's my take on the delay.

 

Parker seems to think it will be sorted in the next day or so, which would suggest it isn't a loan as the window isn't open yet.

That is generally how it works.

I used to work with a relation of a lad who was in the academy at Sunderland. After loan spells at Orient and Carlisle he ended up signing permanently for Carlisle (who happened to be managed by Abbo at the time). Sunderland let him go for free but it was stated that if he was transferred again with 3 years for a fee Sunderland had a 75% sell on. Both parties had expected him to flourish playing regularly and be sold on.

In the end he ended up at Forest Green and then Notts County. I think he’s now at Hartlepool....so he never quite made it.

 

Salford again with another good signing in Ashley Hunter who tore us a new arsehole in our final game. What a surprise a club with ambition not caring about this salary cap nonsense.
