It has been made clear in the reports of the transaction that most of the money is going to cover the debt.

 

Rupp has got to have some flexibility. Let’s face it, McB might never have been sold, and Rupp would still be owed money.

What happens if we get a bad crop of long term injuries. What happens if Palmer gets recalled? I’m certain Rupp would get his debts paid off quicker if we were in League one rather than non league.

Speculate to accumulate. Spend to save.

Quite obvious the team needs some gaps fixing. If we don’t do it now, Mr Rupp will be paying for it in other terms.

 

If McB wasn’t sold then Rupp would have had to cover the losses from last year rather than be owed money.

Do not forget the Rhodes formula for the accounts at BCFC that states that the club deficit automatically increases in line with any monies received,

When we buy a player we align our payments to that club with the revenue coming in. It may cost us more to do so. Or take out a loan with repayments aligned similarly. We don't have to wait to receive to do something with it.

That's my sincere concerns for the forthcoming season. Vaughan, Reeves, Scannell, Henley but to name a few...

We already appear to have a glut of injuries and whilst we have quantity in the squad, do we have the necessary quality and depth?

 

No, you only need to look at the bench on Saturday.

Lack quality overall.

 

On the flip side, we have players coming back. Surely we will bring in a loan or two.

I dunno about the branch? Scannell, Longridge, Wood. Not bad for 4th division football?

Balance in the squad is suspect, especially when injuries occur.

 

You have to wonder about the likes of Riley, Patrick not making the bench, Akpan, McCartan, Reeves, Ismail, O'Connor we know were injured but yes the bench was not the best.
Lets hope the incomings arent finished.

Weird bench. No Riley. No strikers. Coleville - has he signed a contract now, or we’re forced to have a non contacted player as sub (is that even allowed?). Maybe I missed the fact he’s put pen to paper?
