I think it’s been fairly obvious that they’ve been waiting for the McBurnie deal to go through before making any more moves. I also think that city have not confirmed up until this point the sell on clause officially as to not drag up the demands of potential signings, but with it being all over the media it was impossible not to.

With no midweek game this upcoming week I reckon we will see a new face by Grimsby and a couple more by the end of August. I heard via someone who knows someone blah blah blah that we have a bid was in for a player who is keen to join (don’t know who) but the club in question is waiting on a player they’re trying to sign first. 2+2 would suggest the lad at Peterborough

 

I'll get it right by the end of the seasin "Paudie" although Purdie was far more pleasant on the eye .

We are linked with Callum Cooke but I think a better target might be Mark O’Hara did good things on loan at Lincoln last season a big lad as well converted from defender to midfield. Lincoln want him but can’t afford the 100k don’t know whether we can but sounds like a good bet

 

Never heard of him. However, if he did a good job for Lincoln, and they want him back, he must be decent for this level.

Presume, if ex defender, he is a defensive midfielder.

I think Bowyer will still have Cooke on his radar though, a player he knows well, and probably views an attacking midfielder has a priority, because lets face it, theres little creativity in our midfield currently
