If he gets back, and if he gets anywhere near to the form he showed when he first signed he will be very influential. Quite a few ifs there but I’m hoping both for him and for the team

Yea but they have had a good few years of money spinning cup runs as well so think they could offer decent wages for him too and tbh alot of footballers and agents money is one of the most important reasons when signing for a club now

Why couldn't a fit Jake Reeves be influential? Looked a decent player to me when he was fit.

 

Seriously, if the players we've got that didn't perform last year - Reeves and Robinson - come back, then we've got two potential very good league two players. Big IF's though. As discussed, Reeves has some mental issues which I hope he's got over, but he's still been out of the game for some time and it will take him pre season and then some to get fully match fit. Robinson, well we don't know. He's in the same boat as Reeves with regards to physical fitness, and to be honest I don't suppose his head is in much better condition.

 

Because he's been out for so long and he will be nowhere near match fit.

It's not me being negative, it's me being realistic.

You can't expect a player to be out for a year and a half to then make a difference to a team.

 

Oxford and Lincoln both wanting him , he’s got a year left on his contract but can leave if he finds a club.
