    He can have all the ability in the world, if he has an attitude problem we are always better getting rid. It can toxify the dressing room as it has with us and bring other players down. Is it worth giving him a clean slate only for something else to not go to his liking and we have the same situation again in 6 months? Get rid get rid get rid

    I have a collectors edition memory of Rankin. I actually saw him score. Think it was when we beat Bristol City 5-0 at home. Even then, he almost fluffed his one on one chance when we were scoring for fun. I just checked his wiki page, and seems he didn't progress much. Played for Jamie Lawrence towards the end of his career.

    I do hope he has a good pre season and stays injury free because we need to see an extra 20-30% out of him next season to justify that contract. Good luck to him

    I agree but I also think because we are moving down a level playing against a slightly lower standard of player you'd hope they perform better anyway

    If we sign James Vaughan, that would be an unbelievable signing for a League Two side. on that basis, id be amazed if we got him.

    Daryl Murphy was never going to come - he's on 15k a week at Forest, in what world were we ever a realistic option?
    plus Martin O'Neill loves him.
