    Not the most exciting of posts but despite not being certain about this, Wellington Phoenix recently signed Irish striker Cillian Sheridan which I believe filled their final overseas quota spot. If that's the case then that would rule out Wellington as a destination unless Jones can obtain an Australian / NZ visa.

    Just because we have played well over the last few games doesn't mean he is not a poor player. I think our pressing game up the top of the field has diguised how many mistakes he makes. He is a liabilty and we do need to replace him with a better player. I wouldn't say get rid of him but I'm not sure he is first team standard anymore

    But it's not just a bit of running, is it? Obviously the added fitness has helped. But also a coherent game plan, better cover from midfield, clear improvement in team bonding & morale and the sense that he's no longer playing for a basket case club since Edin left. All of these are important factors.

    And a fair few will agree.

    He has been shocking for most of 2018, so a handful of recent good games isn’t going to suddenly change people’s view of him.

    And I’d even argue that McGowan has been the better of the 2 over the last month.

    NKP contract up for reknewal. So he is trying again. He got a new deal last season and immediately turned to shit.

    I cannot excuse the 11 months prior to December. He was absolutely abysmal.

    Today's T&A says we're close to a second one but no timings.

    Also says Hopkin doesn't mind adding another loan even if it means one has to sit out of the match day squad as we'll now have 6.
