It felt as though it could have turned midweek if we hadn’t gone ahead. It was as if some were waiting for the excuse, and looking at the performances I don’t blame them really

 

I’m not even there and i did’nt expect anything else. He goes two upfront and drops Riley on Tuesday and gets a result then decides to change for today. He really isn’t ready for a job like this at this moment in his managerial career. He isnt helped by recruiting worse central midfielders than last season but this needs to be addressed now the fans have lost confindence in Rahic and Collins.

 

I’m not there either but total agree with you. I expected more from the players that have been signed.

 

Clapping your hands quickly aint gonna turn this ship around. Collins is his own worst enemy constantly changing stuff. He got a result on Tuesday yet changes the team.
He clearly has no clue what he is doing.

 

Ive said it from the start Midfield recruitment has been the worst its been for a long time Akpan and Wright are awful.

Bang on, he has to change one or both but we have nothing to change with. Slowest midfield i’ve ever seen us have.

 

I’d seen good teams tear us apart more emphatically in one sided games. I’ve seen lacklustre performances with more mistakes. I’ve seen horror shows like Blackpool away where the side didn’t give a shit.

But I’ve never seen a more amateur, disorganised and abject display by a Bradford city side. Ever.

But problem starts at the top. It’ll have to get worse before change is effected.

 

The Blackburn fans around where i live all laugh at the Akpan signing and Wright doesnt get good reviews from anywhere either, writing was on the wall.

 

The commentary just said he’s got away from Chicksen, that’s like a Cheetah escaping the claws of a worm

 

Wonder if it will cross MCs mind to quit?

No leaders whatsoever

 

I’m away today so not at the game. Like every fan here we are united in the best for Bradford City. It’s still in recent history we all put are hands in our pockets to save this club,.... the game we love the opera of the working class.
I thought I’d share this with you all.
I’m not local moved from Bradford nearly 20 years ago but like nearly all fans I have the faith and enjoyment in one team. A club we nearly all worship.
So,...
in the midlands I witnessed a Bradford couple buy a property and turn it extremely successfull restaurant in a not so wealthy area. Staff all new their jobs. Front of house staff welcoming and so successful the car park was rammed every working day. The staff went the extra mile. Ker ching
Then a tool came along offered wonga but never run a restaurant! The owner came to our table one eve and brought me a glass of whisky on the house I’d returned from military service in a very hostile country and he said it was least he could do for you boys. A real gentleman.
He said he didn’t want to sell as the community and people love it but he’s all the faith in the new owners.
Within 3 years the place is empty, the experience dire, the menu torn up, the staff left and the foreign owners blinkered to what the restaurant was. The car park is new, the bar done out and it’s empty.
There is huge resemblance to this debacle and the fact is. Once it’s ruined it will go to ruin. The owners will lose some coinage we’ll lose the history and the club we all stand for and think the world of. We should unite to get this fixed literally before it’s too late. As a business man and can see all the flaws. Can we not unite to save this club?

 

Gary Jones embodied the City side under Parky He was the perfect captain.

Josh Wright is the perfect captain for this one.

 

Bite the bullet Edin. Get rid now...He won’t though, too arrogant.

Haven’t heard MC’s post match interview yet, I bet he won’t be as smug today.

 

Hopefully.

 

We can only hope.
