Rahic Opinion

I think Rahic is to blame for all this. I think he obviously knew he would have a low budget and his business plan just didnt prove to be profitable. He sticks his ore in way too much and I wouldnt be bothered if he went.

The Reality

That being said, without a potential investor we cannot just get rid of him. The fanbase has requirements from an owner, im sure most dont care if hes German or Italian as long as the club is strong. We aren't strong, its clear, but without a new investor we are stuck. If we alienate Rahic, if we dont think about how his personality reacts to conflict then we could end up being the arbiters of our own demise.

All he has to do is to lose interest, not push Rupp for more cash and with rental costs on the stadium could see us either leaving VP or going into administration. We are already at the foot of the league a bigger bash to his ego could be devastating. Unless someone comes along who can pay back his investments such as the pitch etc. then he isn't going to let that go easy. We could become utterly neglected and face oblivion

Time to be Shrewd

I dont want to tell anyone not to protest in any way. There's already a fund for this on justgiving. If it goes ahead those who are organising it have a massive opportunity. Taking a strategic approach the fanbase could have an active role in improving the management of the club.

Instead of 'Rahic out!' what about 'we want change', its ambiguous, it means many things. Most of all its not antagonistic. What do we really want? i think most of us want the club run in a traditional way and we want Rahic to step back. If he does this, brings in a Baldwin or Mason to take the helm then im guessing we would be happy.

Lets push for something within our grasp, that doesn't alienate the only owners we have. Not because we love Rahic but because we need to protect our club against his ego. Emotions say 'get him out' but a shrewd person would say 'change your ways'. Lets have more protests that follow a strategy that instigates positive change in the face of no other would be investors.

'Rahic Out!' achieves nothing but venting our anger. It could result in adverse effects. Blowback so to speak.

'We want change' sends a message but makes our end goal more achievable. We can follow up with more protests, once again aimed at installing a proper CEO. It doesnt even have to be 'we want change' but something with a similar impact.

Let Edin take the glory of being chairman and lets get a proper man like Baldwin in to save our backsides.

If there are no alternative investors. This should be our goal.
