Rupp was paid a lot of money for his helicopter seat business but he knows FA about running a football club.

 

I would judge that as, there are prospective buyers out there and they are trying to up the price. They want out, all the evidence suggests they want out. Plus that would fuel even more opposition to their tenure of this club.

1. No Rupp at VP
2. No speeches or media presence.
3. Rahic, three weeks leave at a crucial time.
4. No leadership, suggestions of what is going to happen next.

I can feel it. They both regret buying the club, if buying is the right word, more like proxy buying via the season tickets holders and sponsors.

They can’t afford antagonism, they need to get out in financial tact.

 

The question is hypothetical and based on the premise that they were serious about staying put. IF that were the case, would it change your approach to the protest, or would you continue with a protest that would not achieve it's aim?

No, not unless we saw some dramatic change in approach, this would need to be backed with hard evidence.

It absolutely does, I 100% agree. I do wonder if part of the reason for the 'holiday' to Germany is to meet up with Stefan and thrash out their next statement - whatever that may be. If it does turn out to be another rehash of 'we are in it for the long term', that also needs to be accompanied by an honest admission that they have f*cked things up big time and they now accept that they need to listen to people more experienced than they are in running a football club. I am not saying I want them to remain at the helm but I do think it is a very real possibility and if that turns out to be the case, I just hope we get that recognition from them because without it, they are not going to change.

Not really no, it was just a comment by Mark Neale that they now regret getting involved with the club.

Too many people on here with the mindset that anyone who disagrees with the mob ‘isn’t a real fan’ therefore the mob speak on behalf of all fan. Conspiracy theories spread like wildfire.

Like many fans, i’m trying to make sense of the current mess without getting sucked into the emotive rumour fueled ‘war’ on here and other places.

The whole mess is quickly becoming a self fullfilling prophecy. The enti edin hysteria that began last Jan is destroying the club. The players look terrified. Walking on eggshells.

And, despite the mob consensus, we have enough proven players at this level to at least be competitive.

As for Ryan Sparks, the lad was aparently quite highly regarded in RL circles so not a nobody by any means.

 

Don’t you just hate it when someone says they regret this and regret that grrrrrrrr. They are adults, they make decisions based on their own research. 2 years down the line, we now regret getting involved. Oh please save me the sob stories.

 

It is if it's a shed load of cash and he's rewarding failure. Any other business and he'd be long gone. But then any other business he would never have been here in the first place.

Mine started way back when Phil Parkinson left and we let him go virtually for free maybe not hysteria but questioning why a manager who had given so much to our club would want out after the first meeting or two with Edin. Then Stuart came in the season was exceptional getting to Wembley, then I heard rumours of Edin wanting Stuart out, it just didn't make sense.

Then came the denials and it just went down hill with regards trust in Edin, the good thing was Stuart had us in a great position in the league, so you naturally you think he can't sack Stuart he's doing great, Stuart has a slump in results (although still very much in touch with the play off pack) and he's gone, which to many suggested Edin had got his way in the end and used the slump in results to do what he hadn't the balls to do in the closed season.

We know the rest but the one central figure in all this is "The Ego" Edin Rahic, he cant shoulder all the blame Stefan Rupp has to accept some blame, but it looks to most as he's been quite happy to sit back and allow his mate to possibly destroy our club.

I accept fans have different opinions on our club and the running of it but I find it very difficult to understand how anyone can defend what we have seen during their tenure at Valley Parade, please Edin & Stefan cut your losses and put the club up for sale.

 

What is there to support about R + R?

Genuinely, can't find a single redeeming quality?

Are people so scared that a replacement won't be found, or do they respect the way we've been run?

Why are people still not sold that these two have no place at Bradford City?

I'm betting the new pitch was really a deliberate act of sabotage, knowing full well our 'shit' squad will be schooled by league 1 powerhouses like Rochdale and Wycombe.
