Exactly why I think it’s a pathetic decision by the club to implement this new system 3 quarters through the season. I bet no other league club would do this. Just wait until may 1st and do it then, where people have 3 months to get used to it and the club get 3 months to sort out any teething issues. Just asking for trouble, and inevitably more criticism following a disastrous 6 seasons
The queues at the ticket office on Tuesday night were pathetic, clearly dealing with new system issues for frustrated fans. I’ve not seen it that busy when there’s been twice as many fans inside the stadium

I was one of many who got my card details nicked when we had to use them for one of the Wembley trips. Luckily I didn't end up losing anything.

The guy I spoke to seemed very relaxed about the new system and confident it will all work out fine once initial hiccups are sorted and people get used to it.

Sending a question about the new ticketing website and getting a standard e-mail back like this.
"If your query pertains to the management or operational aspects of the club, please be advised that these topics fall outside the scope of our customer service team. We understand these are important issues and we want to ensure they are addressed appropriately.
For detailed discussions and questions about the club's operations, we invite you to contact our Supporters Board. This dedicated channel, which includes regular meetings with the CEO and the Director of Ticketing and Supporter Services, is designed to address such inquiries. Please email your questions to questions@supportersboard.com."
That's the sign of a very unhappy fan base at the moment and suggests many e-mails are being received about the shitshow running the club.Bronco, Storck, Wakefield Bantam and 1 other person like this. -

I suspect that once the teething issues are sorted out, it will operate better than the old system.
That said, I can't believe the EFL hasn't introduced a league wide e-ticket system, with an app/smart card for regular users. It would be so much easier if away tickets could be added to the app/card upon purchase and occasional users could still have the option of printing their own tickets out. Most people would then have no need to have their tickets posted out or queue at the ticket office or away ground to collect them.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... still think its another example of poor communication from the club though.
know a few others in this stand, apart from my brother, and none of us were aware!
Given the ticketing system has this notification feature is it really that hard to email or message the few hundred affected and make it clear they will have to move when renewing?
I used to sit in Midland Road on halfway line and in those days letters were a thing. Sure the club wrote to you when away fans were taking over the away end and we had to move for segregation purposes…..that was for a one off game, not buying a ST.
Poor communication the norm these days though.QCFC BANTAM, Parader, Onside and 1 other person like this. -

and it worked successfully.
Had the Ticketing Director updated his Q&As and explained how to do this or provided better staff training, there would have been less grief for the fans.bantamdave41, Onside, Foghornleghorn and 1 other person like this. -

I renewed my season tickets in person at the ticket office. I enquired about having a physical ticket as we have now and got a little patronising lecture about moving with the times and if I can't really cope with a QR code come back next season and they can see what they can do. I disliked the assumption that because I am a female over 65 I am some sort of technology imbecile. I just prefer a physical ticket thanks.
Anyway having registered myself successfully on Ticketmaster I thought I would do the same for son and grandson.
My son's account was pre-populated with an address in Eccleshill that we have absolutely no connection with. There is something very wrong with the data migration.
I have emailed the club and asked them how this can have happened. Will await the response with interest.Bigrod, Onside, Wakefield Bantam and 1 other person like this. -
@Allotment Bantam @Dennis There are many reasons why ppl prefer to use a physical card rather than a code on your phone. Personally I don’t see why the club cannot provide them free of charge for those that want them. They will hardly break the bank. The majority will use a code on the phone.
I am 74 and have no problems finding my way round all technology I just think my brain is wired that way. So the patronising and making assumptions about ppls ability to negotiate there way round this flawed system has bugger all to do with age. I suppose the equality training they have had doesn’t include age discrimination? I think this new system has many of the basic’s missing and just not working. The ones that are working F&F are clunky and difficult to negotiate. The success of any roll out of tech is glowing praise from the users. So far this barely gets 3/10 from me. The lack of instructions videos and support is breathtaking when this is a major supply of resources to the business!Allotment Bantam, Foghornleghorn, Dennis and 1 other person like this. -

Best thing to do with your ticket is if we you get the QR code emailed to you then print it out and stick it onto something like an old season ticket or Tesco club card. That way you get the physical ticket and save yourself the £5.dn14bantam, Allotment Bantam, Dennis and 1 other person like this. -
