Drury says he's already picked his team for Saturday. Wonder if this had anything to do with it - he was in said dressing room during said jokes. Replaces him with Caddis and maybe replaces him with Paudie.

here’s the thing; people have said o’connor was laughing last week, others have said he wasn’t. i certainly never saw it.

now you’ve got the bantams banter lads with this new accusation that must have come from inside the dressing room if it’s true. doesn’t take a genius to work out who their mole is. if someone has leaked something that may or may not be true, we have no idea, then they are almost as bad for not sorting it out within the four walls of the changing room and getting their mates to drop it on to social media the night before a match.

The o’Connor Thing has been talked about since the start of the week. As I had heard it I presumed it was common knowledge.

 

Anthony O'Connor is a perfect example of a 'Championship Manager' mentality signing.

His attributes mean literally NOTHING if the guy is, as has been alleged, the self-serving, back-slapping failure that he has appeared to be in his BCAFC tenure.

Rahic didn't sign characters, he didn't sign a team, he signed individuals, most of them losers, and developed a losing team.

Idiot.

There's much more to a signing than 'are they good'. 'Do they fit', 'are they leaders', 'can they they lift a team', these ideas were alien to a mong who just wanted to sign a load of players and spend too much money.

Then again, we have fans who would appoint Steve Evans, so signing individuals who are suitable clearly isn't an issue for them either... Rahic isn't alone...

 

Take no notice of Park, he was still sucking farts out of Edins arse to the day he left. Amazing how he still denies the 'rumours' even though its been proved they were true.

 

I hope O’Connor appears on the subs bench sporting a head bandage where Hopkin has gone to town on him

 

Why on earth has a centre half got a goal bonus?

 

Doesn't really matter which one of them you drop, we are in the bottom two with all the above playing. In truth we can't drop O'Connor, but only because we don't have enough players to cover the bench. If we did have i would drop him from the squad altogether, he's been woeful most of the season.

 

Because he realised he had more chance of getting that bonus than a clean sheet bonus.

 

This just shows the value of Parkys rules on signing players, He always said he did a lot of looking in to a players character and would he fit in the dressing room before signing a player, He said it only takes one bad apple to destroy a dressing room, Seems no one learnt the lesson.

 

Maybe he hasn't, it could have been a very ill judged and poorly timed attempt at a joke. Given the seriousness of the situation we are in, I don't think Hopkin would have reacted to that well.

 

Isn't this the guy who slagged his team mates off when Collins went.
Just how could a player make such a comment when they as a team had just been turned over by the worst performing team in the division with 10 men.
It would have been a brave player to have made that crack in Phil Parkinson presence as manager, this sort of thing makes me as a fan believe the present squad when it gets down to the nitty gritty don't give a f**k.

 

I heard it was the reaction of the other players in hear shot that annoyed Hopkin he was blasting them for a shocking performance and joke or no joke they were taking the piss.
