People like him, he alone managed to get a record number of people to vote at the ballot box. There are things i don't particularly like about him, but dismiss him at your peril. As it stands i've more faith in him than any of the major political parties. I would never vote Tory again in my life (my only ever vote in a general election) and would never vote for a party that decided an complete imbecile like Jeremy Corbyn should lead them into battle.

Just go and read about his dodgy dealings, his meetings with Assange and what he did in the US elections with steve bannon. Why is it he can never face questions about certain aspects of his financing?

You can hate the EU all you like but he is a snake oil salesman and I would be careful following him if i were you.

It just goes to show how much some politicians can be out of touch with everyday life and have a sense of self importance, I would be surprised if any of these prima donas were to be re elected to parliament.

If you're suggesting that Farage alone was responsible for the EU Referendum, I don't believe that is true.

Eurosceptics within the Conservatives were more responsible for the referendum happening. Although Cameron had initially tried to contain Euroscepticism within his own party when he first became leader, he came under pressure as Euroscepticism within the Conservatives had grown by the time the EU Referendum was included in their manifesto.

Farage or his party UKIP were certainly a big factor in Cameron committing suicide by offering a referendum to shut his anti EU back benches up, in many area's UKIP were getting very good backing from the electorate and if our system had been proportional representation UKIP would have had several MPs in Parliament.

Cameron said he would get a deal from the EU that would satisfy most of the electorates fears with regards the likes of free movement ETC, the EU treated Cameron with contempt and he came back with a rather embarrassing deal (similar to Theresa Mays deal), in many cases the offer was only a temporary measure, so he went to the country with his referendum vote not thinking for one minute the UK electorate would vote to leave, and woke up with a massive problem on his hands on Friday morning, then had second thoughts and resigned, could anyone imagine Margret Thatcher bottling it, I was never a lover of her but after making a massive decision like that she would have seen it through.

I am not saying UKIP/Farage were completely irrelevant but I am saying their role has been overstated and it has been overstated very often.

By the time Cameron had included the referendum in the Conservative manifesto, the number of Eurosceptic Conservative MPs and candidates to be MPs had increased on what it had been when he first took charge of the party. Without the Eurosceptics within the Conservatives, the referendum would never been have been included in the manifesto.

They're all in for themselves. Not one of them comes without any excess baggage, not a single one of them. Politics is changing in this country, the people have had enough. It may not be Farage that emerges as the eventual victor, I'll pretty sure it won't, but he's done enough to change the way we view the main parties in this country. And its needed badly, because even though we have the worst government in living history at the wheel, the only alternative as it currently stands is quite frankly laughable.

So you don't agree it was also the strides UKIP had made in the General Election, it was only due to the Conservative party having more Eurosceptics within their party.

I can understand people (including MPs) having a view on leaving or remaining in the EU, but to blow up the importance of the issue, like we have, defies all logic. In the long term, being within or without the EU will make little difference.

Meanwhile, we are almost ignoring all the important issues, such as the environment, health, crime etc, but, hey, who cares, when we can spend all our time arguing over Brexit.

I do not believe Brexit will ruin this country; neither do I believe it will solve our problems.
Equally, I do not believe remaining in the EU will ruin this country; neither do I believe it will solve our problems.

But spending the last 3 years, plus the next 6 months, or more, arguing about Brexit has and is helping to bring this country down. We need to move on.

Not exactly the Brexit you was promised though, is it?

The best we’ve got now is, it’ll be ok, we’ve wasted nigh on 3 years and a load of money. But at least Tony Bliar and David Camoron are a bit f***ed off.

UKIP/Farage might have had some impact, but nowhere near as much impact as they are often given credit for. Without the influence of Eurosceptics within the Conservatives, the referendum would not have happened. I guess Cameron foolishly thought he could end the Euroscepticism within his party by having a referendum and defeating those who wanted to leave the EU once and for all.

It's the MPs who are bringing the country down, there shouldn't have been any arguing, Theresa May implemented the Article 50 and said we would be leaving on 29th March 2019, MPs are making it a difficult situation, maybe they have no answers to the current situation with regards the problems we have in the country.

Maybe a politician of David Cameron's standing should have had a plan "B".
Glad the Eurosceptics brought the situation to ahead or the electorate would have never been give the choice, I disagree UKIP had little influence, maybe David though he could slay both Goliath's with a Referendum.

There should never have been wasted years 3 or otherwise, the MPs decided that Theresa May could implement Artice 50, it should have been delivered and at the same time we told the EU Parliament we will be leaving on 29th March 2019 if you want to come back and offer a deal well listen otherwise we leave on that date deal or no deal to coin a phrase.

“If only this”. “If only that”

That’s all we’re gonna hear from now on.

    Bored of it already.

No brexiteer has a coherent argument about what brexit is, was, should have been. Whereas the remain side have always been coherent about what it means to be a member of the EU. The brexiteers fight against that logic and have done which has caused the mess we are in. They began this, they brought on the damage we have already felt and any damage that comes will be their fault also.

You have no idea where the EU will be in 10 years time, An EU Army on the cards? All Members MUST be in the Euro including the UK , Enforced speed limiters on all cars, Central elections of officials from certain countries and not others, Plus many more changes you have no idea about, Your statement that we know what we are getting in the EU is laughable if the subject was not so serious
