You make it sound like the country wasn't fecked before Brexit. All Brexit has done is highlight the fact the people in charge of running this country aren't fit for purpose.

They are just an even softer version of the limp dems, they will all most likely lose their seats/deposits at any forthcoming election...

I respect the Brexit Party, thats democracy after all. Let them try to achieve their aims im happy with that. More democracy is always a good thing.
How you can trust nigel farage who wont reveal his financiers is beyond me. I always thought the british people were cleverer than that. He is clearly a charlatan, an egotist and a danger to the working people of this country. He has cleverly painted himself in the union flag and people cant see passed it. Scary times indeed.Offcomedun likes this. -

It just goes to show how much some politicians can be out of touch with everyday life and have a sense of self importance, I would be surprised if any of these prima donas were to be re elected to parliament.

I can understand people (including MPs) having a view on leaving or remaining in the EU, but to blow up the importance of the issue, like we have, defies all logic. In the long term, being within or without the EU will make little difference.
Meanwhile, we are almost ignoring all the important issues, such as the environment, health, crime etc, but, hey, who cares, when we can spend all our time arguing over Brexit.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Rogered Tart likes this. -

The Lisbon treaty you mention has the effect of making all countries of the EU adopt the Euro as their currency by 2020, The UK along with such as Sweden has an opt out but if we stay in will come under increasing pressure to adopt itBronco likes this. -
