No he just didn't believe that Edin was good for the club, he was right. This occasion he definitely is otherwise he wouldn't have suggested Conrad Logan as being a better keeper than ROD.

 

definitely not. I genuinely don't rate Richard O'Donnell, and I think there's plenty better, even at our level.

 

Somebody posted the other day that o'donnell was rated 4th in a start he had seen up to Xmas so that means there was at least 3 better keepers up to then and we all know what happened after Xmas so how many more went above him.

 

How are the 2 even nearly comparable? What an absurd comment. Is O’Donnell some cancer ripping the clubs soul out? For what it’s worth I called Rahic out after Rotherham away in Jan 2018 and was ripped to shreds in and out of the stadium.

 

That stat was for the whole of England, don't think we're likely to sign David De Gea any time soon do you? Do you really think he was that bad with the absolute shambles of a defence he had in front of him?

 

I think the it was fairly apparent way before the Rotherham away game that Edin was bad news.

 

I decided O'Donnell was not great after his fantastic display at Blackpool.

 

Of which he was a big part

 

There’s an easy was to tell if your opinion is nonsense or not, just see if park agrees with it.

 

How do you want ROD to stop a cross coming in to the box? It happened all season then we had AOC and NKP playing who can be furthest away from the ball when it came in to the box.

 

He is supposed to command his area. Yes he had crap in front of him but he gave them even less confidence

 

I agree. Me and my old man went to the Guiseley friendly the summer previous and predicted relegation. Still not sure what he has to do with O’Donnell mind, oh well.

Thing is though Dave, he isn’t fishing. He genuinely believes he’s right......!

 

But there’s a difference sunshine. With Edin, most couldn’t see what was happening, even when others warned them (I include myself in that).

But we see the same as Ricc with regard O’Donnell and simply don’t agree with his view. Have you been swigging from the same bottle he drinks from? The one marked WUM?????

 

I think you need to re-read that earlier post. The stat wasn’t that O’Donnell had the 4th best figures in L1 (meaning 3 L1 keepers were rated better). The stat was comparing all keepers, so he was the best keeper outside the Premier League, based on that stat.

Yes, his form fell away, but claiming he’s gone from a top rated L1 keeper at the end of December, to an average L2 keeper is frankly ridiculous....!

 

He was that good he was dropped for a poor understudy
