I know they're not the team they once were but I'm surprised a Man U goalie would have enough shots to stop to head that particular stats list.

 

He ended up being 4th busiest keeper with Fabianksi, Etheridge and Foster the only keeper to make more saves. Did you not watch a lot of United last year they were awful at the back.

 

Not enough shots? They were horrendous last season. Teams were taking shots for fun at times.

 

No not really. Just a bit surprised out of 92 clubs he had to save the most shots. The more I think about it the more I think it can't be right. Unless all the relegated clubs continually changed their keepers - maybe that's it.

There's the difference @Ricc you have to see players for a full season before offering your opinion, where as Rahic only needed to see Omari Patrick score that goal against Blackpool (although it was a good un) to realise he was the second coming and offered him a 3 year contract.

 

To be fair Stuart promoted him to the first team because of his performances pre season he was singing his praises. And he looked like a world beater at first.

As @bantam2708 says no Wyke that day so Omari stepped up but it still doesn't excuse the fact the Mr I know football gave him a 3 year deal on the back of that goal.

Comparing two players with equal records is harder to judge than 2 with contrasting records. I’ve not said you are wrong to suggest we shouldn’t replace O’Donnell. I’ve said you’re delusional if you think we can get a better, PROVEN, keeper to come play in L2. You’ve still not been able to provide one name that is proven to be better than what we have
