He has no interest in us as a football club. He invested in us, as he thought it was a sure way of making money. How deluded of a man who has made millions in other business ventures

He is jointly responsible for blowing away 5 years of progression under the previous regime and management.

He is jointly responsible for forcing our best manager in decades, Parky, to leave

He is jointly responsible for disrespecting a club legend in McCall

He is jointly responsible for the utter farce of last summer and season

The sooner he sells up to somebody who is genuinely interested in our club and City, the better

Yes, we've brought players in but if Bowyer really rates Devine, Anderson for examples then that's worrying.

I think Bowyer would of liked to have kept Doyle and Scannell.

Basically, we've let players go to bring some in. Is that being backed? Not so sure myself.

 

Disagree. I have contacts in the estate agent game and when I am interest in a property I question the value and most of the time they say we've told the seller to lower the value but they won't.

100% .. people like @Park bantam now need to stop saying they won't be any interested buyers out there. Someone is always interested in buying a football club. If a deal doesn't go through it's mainly down to price.

10m is a joke of an accepting price. Don't own the stadium, don't own the training ground and have no playing assets.

I want Rupp out myself. I am hoping he sells up and doesn't be greedy. A realistic price and and walk away to do more motorsports.

Very much a 'halfway house' for me. Rupp has made monies 'available', Bowyer did the team building (may I use the term loosely ?). As fans we can only post opinions, the real answers lay behind closed doors atm.

 

A business man like yourself would understand that that's working to a budget.

Football clubs not selling is mainly down to greed.

Probably a none story but be careful what you wish for. Yes Rupp has no interest in the club but he has put money in (and taken some back from the McBurnie sale), yes he was dupped by Edin but rightly covered the money from that era and looks, with Rhodes, to be trying to get back on track.

I would have thought he'd wait a year or 2 until we are fully back on course, with possibly a promotion thrown in to boost his chances of a return on his investment.

 

He's been backed as far as budgets go and its a decent budget for League 2. Everyone, included yourself knew that certain were on ridiculous wages and needed to go to free up space.

 

Owns no assets.

Needs to get out of this division this season.

All our association with Rupp has brought us is relegation into league 2, lower attendances and the depletion of our last remaining asset in Mcburnie.

The club was better off before he arrived.

 

There is no chance of getting £10m, during the Paladini talks Julian & Mark only wanted £6m and it has been said Rupp & Rahic paid £6m.
Id prefer an owner working within the club who was hands on but if not Julian is probably the next best knowing the clubi nside out, no way anyone would pay £10 for a league two club with no assets apart players and Fotball League registration.

 

It happens, I worked on tenders for years and saw the same practices. Rupp bought City for a lot less in League One, I'm sure with his business acumen he knows the club isn't worth more money than his original investment, if the story is accurate he's clearly given a price that reflects his position of not wanting to sell, however if someone came up with that money he couldn't refuse it.
