Can I just tell you all, it’s a wind-up. It’s been started by the same group of WUM’s, all tweeting and responding to each-others tweets at the same time.

I have just texted a friend who is quite close with DB, and he states there’s nothing in it, either.

This is what I know from Burnley side of things a investment is on the table whether they are accept is a different matter but if accepted it would see Brendan flood and 2 other directors leave along with David Baldwin. Baldwin and flood have been strongly linked over my way from people I know at turf moor to city. As I have said before if I am wrong happy to take the flak but these guys are pretty spot on with things at turf moor. The only issue is whether Burnley do accept the investment on the table which could determine the outcome.

He has no interest in us as a football club. He invested in us, as he thought it was a sure way of making money. How deluded of a man who has made millions in other business ventures

He is jointly responsible for blowing away 5 years of progression under the previous regime and management.

He is jointly responsible for forcing our best manager in decades, Parky, to leave

He is jointly responsible for disrespecting a club legend in McCall

He is jointly responsible for the utter farce of last summer and season

The sooner he sells up to somebody who is genuinely interested in our club and City, the better

 

Frigs sake @Fordy117 are you really being serious with this post?

Liverpools owners are worth 2.7 billion for crying out loud and the club receives 100s of million every single year.

To compare our owner to theirs and call him out for taking a bit of his loss back is ridiculous.

 

Typical Bratfud, get rid of the guy with a self generated £100m and get some proper Bratfud in with £2.50.

 

The overspend we've been told was £2M. We're receiving £3M from the Mcburnie sale which would cover both.

Even if it doesn't cover every single penny, £3M is enough to seize control over the situation, make the debt manageable and not require Rupp to urgently dip into his pocket.

It's been done to death on here but there's literally zero evidence of Rupp putting money into the club and even if there is, I'm struggling to muster up any praise for him.

We've received roughly £4M worth of income since Rupp took over. Just let that sink in. £4M. That's £4M which if used correctly could easily propel a league 1 club Into the Championship. Instead it's gone towards financing a debt free league 2 club and there are some on here who are grateful to Rupp because he was prepared to finance us but instead used the clubs biggest asset to do it.

I mean seriously?

I just don’t believe these types of rumours are helping anyone at the club - and they should be very quickly squashed.

I reckon David Baldwin leading a consortium would be a popular move.

 

Not sure I can do with another summer of every Twitter rumour being taken as gospel. Drives me nuts.

 

The down side being, that only the POTY could enjoy an 'open top Merc' ride, around the City ......

 

Rahic was the minority shareholder, but Rupp put far too much trust in him and gave him free regine at our club, so for that alone he has to take his share of the blame for were we find ourselves as a club.
