Possibly Norwich have released him and made him a free agent who we could sign next week

 

It was a loan deal and suggested he was highly rated. Why would Norwich release him?

 

If the deal was dead why was he at Mansfield yesterday

Well, the word on the street, is that one of our centre backs was going to join Barnsley. The move didn't materialise. Jonathon Tomkinson was on standby to come in as replacement but it never happened as the original deal fell through.

I didn't give it much credence when I first heard about the outgoing, but it did make a bit of sense when I saw the publicity about Tomkinson poised to join us.

 

I didn't say it was dead?

 

I believe when McD signed MH said he was the one we tried to get over the line in Jan but the deal fell through due to paperwork? Who knows for sure?

I honestly don’t see that rumour to be anything other than Twitter talk , but dafter things have happened.

I didn't see anything about it on twitter Kev, the only mention of it seems to have been in a post from a newby on here who as far as I'm aware, hasn't posted anything since. Not sure if others have seen something about it elsewhere?
