Are you the same Loyal Bantam from the old OMB years ago that Mark Lawn once mentioned in the T&A??? Called that person out for their posting history vs their name.

 

Doesn't seem so. McDonald joined Exeter after Stubbs joined us.

Seems like, despite his age, he could be a good signing.

 

Just been reading about him. He has a great physique on him. Lovely broad shoulders on him. He will be not easily knocked out of the way.

No way are we sticking to the mantra of leaner and meaner. Football fans need to be given more credit and we should pay credence to what other teams are saying about these players.

i remember having a conversation with Ryan Sparks around Theo Robison I said it would be a disaster of signing he’s over the hill and terrible reviews from previous clubs. I was told he’s determined wants to push us on etc all the crap we hear and then look at the results.

It’s happening again we are back in the shit pool and I don’t get it given our turnover claims

Another endorsement. We got the same for Stubbs and that worked out okay. What’s happening with the Crewe speedster?!?? Gills nicked him.

 

Another thing, which may upset a few if City do get McDonald then is alex Gilliead still signing as he is taking his sweet time.
Different type of midfielder but City can move swiftly on if he is not happy with the contract offer

 

Ash Taylor - experienced, leader and decent size. Sounds like just what we need in that back line - but is he the man? I am not convinced.

Kevin McDonald - this one I can get behind. Had a very good career and at 6'4 he gives us that much needed presence for set pieces going forward and backwards.

Apparently we tried to sign McDonald before but for one reason or another, it didn't work out and he went to Exeter instead.

 

Sparks sounds like he is fuming about the Williams fiasco -

Sounds like one we'd need to manage but would be quality when he plays.
