You should be interested as a successful club is symbiotic of many different things. Clubs have had short term success but if you want long term and sustainable these things matter

 

If we ever play Juventus you can be annoyed at pronunciations as well

 

Steve Evans just isn't very good at being a human being.

 

I understand there’s a bit of flexibility with pronunciations and people make the odd spelling mistake of course, but with Wethers, he captained us in the Prem for our two seasons and stuck around through the admins and was a key figure at the club. Almost a decade at the club and some still couldn’t get his name right after all that time!

 

Sure. But every year I have to remind myself that not every City fan is 50-odd years old, long-suffering, and desperately seeking justification for supporting a ('massive') club with so much potential. It's especially tedious and annoying after another unsuccessful season but I often forget that I'm not the target audience for this stuff. For me, Sparks seems to have an admirably positive attitude; So I'm not going to begrudge him a bit of hyperbole, if it swells the coffers for a promotion-and-beyond push but clearly so many of us, however long-in-the-tooth we may be, need to feel that positive spark that keeps us from giving up completely.

 

Wouldn't mind the Grimsby striker Sousa at VP!

 

Fox was excellent in the centre of midfield for Grimsby. He's out of contract in the summer.

 

Rodrigues or Wooton from Notts County for me.

Based on this interview I’d say we are more than likely going to need to plan replacements for Watt, POC and Vernam.

All IMO, but out of the three Watt feels the most likely to leave and the one we will miss the most. Vernam will be nice to have. POC is replaceable.

Feels like we already have some form of replacement in the signings of Young and Platt, though I’d like to see a more experienced CB come in. Songo’o was arguably one of our better players throughout last season but question if he’s the correct CB to go into the season with. Rather see him within a 3 in front of the back 4.

 

They are all replaceable. I think the last few games have skewered people's views a little bit, these 3 are not the football gods they are being made out to be.

 

I agree, ideally all 3 stay but if they leave, like you say, they are replaceable.

Not one of them is worth breaking the bank for anyway.

 

Seems the guy can't win if the club don't keep fans updated with all things Bradford City there not being open and when they do its only on the pitch activity were interested in.
Credit to Sparks and his team for wiping out an £800,000 deficit to break even or maybe being in the black is worth a little acknowledgement from said fans.

 

This. Fans were raging that there was little update or communication ever since James Mason left. We heard zip from Rahic and Rupp. Rhodes was also silent.

Its refreshing that Sparks is telling us fans more than we need to know. He is rebuilding that bridge....

 

The club is using social media excellently at the moment. I can see the impact of the new Marketing Manager.

That will add a lot of long term value to the club and could well be influencing attendances.
