The squad is now shaping up quite nicely don't you think? Lots of legs and now lots of experience.

What do we need now? A RB? That's about it unless anyone under contract leaves.

Just wonder how much of the budget Smallwood has taken and whether we are hoping the likes of Songo'o can play in multiple positions next season. Deffo need a RB as LH is steady but OT has really regressed.

 

Think theres still a little more business in and out to be done, but you can only say there's been a plan, targets identified and secured. Whether it comes together remains to be seen but its a welcome change from the last minute cluster fecks of recent history.

 

Smallwood is a great signing, I still think we are short of maybe one or two players and at least one more older head.

 

Same here. Would like another striker but that probably can't happen unless Cook leaves.

 

How long for…..?

 

Whats next then? A striker? (Although we only play one and have Cook, young and Harratt behind Angol there now), Dion, Watt, a RB? A CB?

Shuffling players back to where they normally play does actually show how balanced the squad is at the minute. think another RW (baring in mind we already have Young and Gilliead who could slot in there if needs be) we will be set! the squad now looks really strong to be honest. roll on July!

Asterisk (*) is used to denote a player who can play in multiple positions. The most interesting one I would say is Jake Young who really is more of a CF than a striker but can also play on either wing. A modern forward.

 

Probably until first game of season.

 

Young is more of a wide man than a forward he was very good playing on the left the season before last

 

Have we upgraded on Paudie, Watt and Vernam???
