I understand that, but Crankshaw is a signing from Curzon Ashton via Wigan in my view rather than a promising player signed from an L1 club.

 

It will be interesting to see who we sign now seeing we have no forwards at the club. Loads of positions need filling up.

 

I hope we can sign a striker that has some pace, cannot recall one since Nahki Wells

 

I agree, get Cook back and that would be a nice forward line.

 

Cook would seem an obvious goto since we’ve no forwards. Should get 15-20 a season and we know you need a couple of those ideally to go up

Reed is a decent player, probably too good for us mind. He is a Yorkshire lad though so might not be impossible to tempt him.

The wingers are going to be pivotal.

Assuming we sign a manager who prefers 4 2 3 1, we need them chipping in at least ten each.

 

From what I've seen his not dissimilar to Connolly but probably paid more.

Swindon did it a couple of seasons ago splitting goals between Yates, Jaiyesimi and Keshi Anderson.

However we do it, it can't be just the forward scoring.

 

You always need midfield to chip in with a few but we need more from them.
