Yep, Kings Lynn is a big player in the stock car circuit. World Championships were going to be there this year, but have now been switched to Odsal.

 

In other news, anyone see Sparks share on Twitter that poor sod who has renewed his season ticket and has to do a 15 hour round trip from Cornwall every other Saturday/odd Tuesday.

 

That's good to say its stock cars first season back at Odsal.

 

I think I'd rather shift Evans and strengthen CM instead.

I know Songo'o is reported as done but I'd still like another option in there as it also gives us the option of playing Sutton at right back if required.

 

I'm hoping he plays right back. He needs to improve defensively but if he can and with his energy and drive he could make for a very decent full back.

 

Personally think Threlkeld and Cousin-Dawson will be right back options. Could be wrong on Threlkeld though, might play him DM. Yeh, Sutton another alternative RB if needs must.

Songo'o, Sutton, Watt will be vying for two deeper CM places. Scales and Cooke options as well if they need to drop deeper to cover. Cant see it personally unless Watt or Sutton leaves.

Whitfield gives us options at number 10 and out wide. But only if Evans departs. I think we pretty well stocked in those areas in terms of numbers now.

 

At our old place a couple of guys with STs in our block used to fly from Trondheim via Schiphol to London City for home games, though missed midweek games (lightweights)

 

Its commitment is that. Whats happening with Declan this summer? Staying or is it Chelsea/Man Utd?

 

Not sure, I think he'll give it another season, but who knows. They're close to signing a back up, certainly wouldn't want to go into the season with Noble as a starter!

 

Id have thought Lingard would be part of the deal but he offered another 3 year deal at Man Utd. I think if Lampard was still at Chelsea he may have gone there but Tuchel might have other ideas.

Europe this season so maybe he does it give it another year.

Gillead will be an alternative number 10 though and Eisa played off the main striker a fair bit last year so I think we're also fairly well stocked there.

We also keep mentioning Songo'o as competition for CM but until its announced we have to assume he won't be here so it does look a bit light in there.

The full back issue could be the biggest worry though. Neither FCD nor Threlkeld are what you would describe as specialist full backs and on the left we've only really one considering we're not overly sure yet about Foulds and his position.

All that said, it's early days and with another 3 or 4 in the building we could look a very different squad by August.

 

I agree. Feels like we've been trying to recruit a right back for two years!! How hard can it be??
