I find it sad that the owners no longer feel welcome at their own club. I hope they’ve learnt from the last 9 months and can implement a new way forward. One thing for sure, I doubt the relationship with the fans will ever be the same again.

 

Shouldn't lie to us and back the manager with funds.

Was always a risk taking a legend on then sacking him without a plan. The owners should of had a plan but they don't want to spend money it seems.

 

Not dismissing it - and i get the sensitivity around the matter. We have to recognise they are in a minority - yes they need educating / reprimanding these sad individuals but they are not a true representative of the normal majority of City fans.

 

That’s true but we don’t know what they intend to do in the summer. They may go alll out for promotion, we just don’t know.

 

I personally feel fans would feel different towards them if they actually spoke a bit more to fans, our previous Chairmen over the years have all been pretty open with us and I feel we were all in it together. Now all us fans haven't a clue what the game plan is or anything, just left to guess, with mr mason talking about the obvious now and again. So sad what's happened.

 

Simple fact is, we could now be in a position where the guy who owns the majority of the club, doesn't give a shit anymore. As mentioned, it's small change to him. Write us off as a bad "gamble".

Edin is a different matter, as he says he put all his money in. But without Rupp's interest, he's not going to fulfill his dream.
Not a great situation is it? Rupp either decides to not invest further anymore, or he decides to sell his share and recoup some of his money (does he need it?). Which means he has to do very quickly, what the previous chairmen did over three years.

Only potential indicator that he's looking to hang around, is that he must have released funds for the new pitch. OR that money is coming from the sale of players. If the latter, we're foooked.

 

Well they should of done that in January or last summer.

They've shown nothing for you or anyone to suggest or think that they will spend their own money in the summer.

 

They’ve brought Grayson in (tried for 2 year contract) and are spending on the pitch. The window is closed so can’t do anything there. The signs are there but we’ll see..

 

They say they tried. Lucky for them and us that the 2 year contract didn't happen because in a few weeks time we will all find out what's going on here.

As for spending money on the pitch. Do me a favour! The pitch is shot to bits and they have too plus remember this... "the pitch or buying a Charlie Wkye?" - don't you remember that from a few months ago?

When the transfer window was open they did nothing.

It all makes sense but a few random comments about being a nazi and stuff shouldn’t put anyone off investing in a club. Football fans say crazy things at the end of the day we all shout ‘how did you miss that?’ At a player when 99% of us would have missed the same chance in front of 18,000-22,000 we’d be trembling so we all shout and say stupid stuff at our players, so we are going to criticise the chairman but again at the end of the day 99% of us don’t have £10million to do it ourselves

So surely Stefan Rupp and any new investors coming in has to realise that
We as fans have opinions, right or wrong and I think it seems like they want us to think that there heroes and love them, kiss there feet kinda stuff

I think it comes across as ego stuff seriously, i think he wants us all to shout his name apart from ‘Edin out’ and ‘stefan Rupp get out of our club’


Thing is... if he really does have a fair few mill, what’s he going to do with it apart from buy more racing cars and keep finishing 2nd in his little ralley or whatever. If he wants to make money potentially he should have spent £5million in January and got us all the players mccall and abbot wanted

If they still didn’t go up then or next season then atleast sack them but not after giving them jack 0.00

What does that mean? You were quite graphical as to what Rupp thinks of the fans and why. You never mentioned how he feels about his business partner.

 

Do you think he understands 7 losses in 46 games just as easily? Or even 20 losses from 78?

You can brush aside his record if you want Park, and just focus on his last 12 games, but it still stands up there with some of the best stats our managers have delivered. We had injuries, players out of form, morale plummeting because of boardroom unrest, a player allegedly refusing to play, no full-backs at the club and a failure to invest. But no, let’s just look at the results of those 12 games, right?!

 

What’s the point in them coming out, people refuse to believe them anyway! Also if they came out and answered every stupid rumour they’d be out every day.. right now actions speak louder than words so let’s see what they do!

 

They haven't done anything for 2 years.

I was under the impression that the various Hitler parodies, though insulting, were not the trigger but a twitter post depicting Rahic as a concentration camp commandant, or something like.

 

So did Stuart, it was poor but as many have said there were several injuries to players who would have been starters, it was his first bad run in 17/18 months at the club (oh for the patience of the last owners), I also think most fans acknowledge something happened within the club that made some players give up/ go on strike what ever term you want to use,.
They brought Grayson in and the results/performances we're on better, and it took the fans berating the team at Blackpool it would seem to bring everyone to their sences, would it have been so detrimental to have given Stuart an other couple of months to work with the "quality January signings" and the odd injured player comming back, because even given that disastrous run we were still amongst the play off contenders.
