What have you seen either previously or since joining us, that makes you think there’s a player in Wright?

Reports from his previous clubs supporters weren’t exactly glowing and we’ve seen with our own eyes that he’d be more suited to playing for Robbie Williams soccer aid team, than any professional outfit.

He was an expensive mistake who we should look to move on if we can. He’s not a patch on any of the Parky midfielders who were probably earning half his salary.

 

should be really easy just get them all sat together and say to them you lot have taken the piss out of this club and fans all season now feck off somewhere else

 

Wright is a nothing sort of player he has some skill with a good range of passing but he has no energy won’t tackle and never appears in either box. I used to criticise Nicky Law for his sideways passing but at least he had some drive and purpose

 

I'd put money on most have known for a week or so and agents have started touting them already.

 

How it works is this.
GB lines them all up, and he says when i call your name, step forward and you're in my plans for next season.
Then, he stands and looks at them for five minutes and says, what are you all still doing here feck off !!!

 

They are a bunch of "See you next Tuesdays" he's picked the correct day to tell them to sod off.

 

We're all aware of the difficulties GB will be facing in trying to shift contracted crap
However, despite this, I've an uncomfortable hunch. That he'll be looking to retain players that I (and Im sure many others) want rid of .

Maybe my views are a bit harsher than others, but I feel there's not a leader amongst them, and they've all loser mentality.
Quite happy if they all buggered off.

 

A footballer's career is a short one. I can't see the unwanted players just staying put, even if they're earning considerable amounts of cash. They'll want to play, even if it means earning less elsewhere.

I think if some of the unwanted ones did decide to stay put it could prove to be a false economy. Their next contract would be considerably less. And they'd have acquired a reputation of being somewhat of a mercenary and not a character another club would want in its dressing room.

Better that they're playing for another team and hoping to prove that they weren't one of the reasons that Bradford City got relegated this season. Rather than hanging around and proving that they were!

 

Strange how some people don’t believe a word the Simon Parker says all season and then suddenly his word is gospel that the players are getting 25% cut

 

What you are saying is that we recruited players with no ambition, and are only interested in the money, and don’t give a toss for their future careers? Yet you lambast fans for accepting what is put in front of them? Well it wasn’t the fans that recruited this batch of players who quite frankly are the worst I have seen at VP. It would appear you have different standards for players, than you do for the fans!

 

Some of the players are on more than 5k a week, the obvious ones. But there are a few players who are pretty near to that figure. I expect most of them won’t be here next season.

 

I bloody well hope that these high earners do in fact believe their own hype and and think that L2 is below them. In turn I hope they manufacture moves for themselves. I pray the first one out of the door is O'Connor. We were told all we needed to know about him by the Aberdeen fans. A bad apple. If we are to keep any of them I hope its Doyle. Hes been played this season isolated and as a target man which he is not. With better supply and a decent partner up front I think he would be a huge asset in L2.

 

You’d keep Josh Wright but then say WE accept mediocrity.
