I really don’t fancy MH in a cup match mentality. Look at yesterday. Bumper crowd with expectations of spanking Barrow all over the pitch. We don’t have a plan B or the quickness of thought to change things quickly. He could do no worse than observe Warnock. Hudds couldn’t buy a win he turns up and sprinkling his gold dust everywhere.

 

Far from over yet but if we are needing results going into the last 5 or so games to get either the automatics or playoffs then I simply don’t trust Hughes to get the results every time this season we have had a chance to close right in on the top 3 or Even break into them he’s made a right mess of it

 

I was very much in that majority but to say I've been disappointed with what I’ve seen from Mark Hughes sides this season is an understatement.

That could turn out to be the case but at the start and even in recent interviews Hughes knew exactly what was required promotion this season.
Of course I'll be purchasing another season ticket but not sure if it turns out to be similar to what we've seen this season certainly at home I would be an ever present at Valley Parade.
I know this may sound harsh but if he does get us up I'm not sure many will look back in years to come and say that promotion season under Mark Hughes was great.

Does this project result in no real pattern and losing thousands of season ticket holders ????

The whole aim for a club of this size is to get out of this poor league at the first opportunity not arse around hoping that we will be ready next season ............ sorry but it simply doesn’t add up for me .......... come the summer should we stay down then no doubt there will be a mass exodus of players in and out so how does that help a two year project ?????

can the club actually afford staying down here and losing thousand of pounds doing it ?????

 

not harsh at all how many times have you walked out of the ground peed off this season ?????? Yet again I was having a right good drink with my pals actually looking forward to the games and yet again they do that to you ............ I actually don’t mind losing I’ve had decades of it but at least if your gonna lose do it in the right way by test the keeper or miss chances ............. sadly that yesterday was not the first it’s another game where we have simply walked into a defeat

All games that this has happened I mean the odd one yes but that’s 5 off the top of my head and I bet you could easily bang more in there it’s simply not good enough and the sad thing is I bet there’s a few more to come before the seasons out ................ I actually thought the Rochdale games was the last of that kind of performance but that yesterday was even worse than the Rochdale game ............ you could actually make the odd excuse for that game ( the ref ) but my god there keeper like others before him could have sat with me for what he had to do ................ I bet Barrow won’t get an easier away win for the rest of the season ..............

 

Sure I spotted their keeper with a big cigar on halfway through the second half.

 

Their keeper was the most entertaining person on the field yesterday, he did a lovely twirl first half then second I was so bored I watched him running back and forward showing more pace than Smallwood, Clayton and Cook tbf doing warm ups. Great theatre.

 

I agree. The injuries and various circumstances were not planned that is for sure. We lost all of our creative players within a couple of games Walker, and Osadabe, then Banks, plus we then lost Wright. Angol was a damp squib, as is Eisa and Pereira. These are the players that can open teams up. By the way I am not making excuses but my guess is we did not have the money to replace them come January. This is the problem you have if you look too far forward.
There are no guarantees.

I agree about the season ticket, but I am not sitting through the dirge again next season. Plus if we don’t go up they will lose a lot of ST holders, how many is debatable as @AngryGaz has stated. I don’t think they will sack MH as he has been given a two year contract and probably a commitment to stick with it.

 

As fans of Bradford City who's football history has mainly been played in the lower leagues we know we are not going to see pure football and 3 points each home game but what I do expect is a professional footballer to have the capability to do the basic's and give their all physically for the full 90+ minutes.

amazing how clubs of the same size level club don’t have these kinds of projects .......... they want out at the first attempt even clubs with financial burdens ( Bolton ) somehow manage to get out at the first attempt ...................

 

I actually think it will be a few thousand a lot got suckered into it again think Hughes will lead us up but as things stand that looks unlikely and if the football in show is dull then folk simply won’t throw money at it again ............... honestly I actually enjoy my Saturdays until 3pm because you simply know what’s coming

 

Sorry but he had part of last season to plan. I think a failure this season will hit the club financially. Especially if we continue the way we play until the season end

 

Winter has a few weeks to go yet.

 

It’s not looking good at all. Fans were buoyed by a good end to last season, but what’s gone wrong this year? Why do we seem slower and more boring. If we were grinding out wins I’d be all for it, but we’re not.

Cos we pick up points away from home.
10 points from next 5 matches and no one should be moaning.
