Where do I get the old school chequebook-style ticket book?

I want to tear them out game by game.

    Viz top tip!
Take a screenshot of your season ticket from the app. Stick to a plastic lid (eg from a tub of ice cream or butter) and then cut to size. Hey presto! You now have your own physical plastic card and saved £5.00.

Yes, I am not scared to admit it. I love @Bronco@Bronco

Look, I have banter with him. Heated debates but I respect him as a City fan like I do you all but we are just a little different in our ways but yeah I love him still.

We don’t have 15,000 and probably never have done if you only count full paying adults. An increase isn’t going to increase sales, certainly not at the business school I went to.

The only alternative would be to play midweek afternoons like we did during the power cuts in the 70s.

I remember bunking off school to watch them, and was surprised as my dad was when I saw that he had taken an unscheduled break from his driving job and rocked up as well. We both made a pact not to tell mum!

Mark Hughes has just said he'll have an 'extremely competitive budget' next season, so what consequence is this?

It doesn't get any clearer than Rupp outlining to the manager that he can expect a good budget.

That pretty much ends the talk about not being competitive.

Many people are going to be plunged into poverty with rampant inflation and power and petrol prices going through the roof football is low down the priority list with many people so keeping the prices affordable is commendable and the right thing to do

The club have held prices because they know realistically this is going to be what the majority of fans can afford - Hughes understands this but is confident he will still have a competitive budget.
I think many fans will buy season tickets despite the difficult financial times because they are appreciate the club are trying to help and because they have hope that under MH we have some hope of a better product on the pitch - and lets face it in tough times we all still need an escape

So we used to get a little booklet, with match tickets, then a little plastic ticket for the season, now its an e- ticket, unless you pay the extra £5 plus the delivery charge. No cash at the refreshment bars. What's next , a bar code on your forehead.
I really dislike the modern world of machines doing a person's job.
Call me an old fuddy duddy, but i will pay the extra, i always have my card in my wallet, but quite often leave my phone at home.

Knowing my luck, there'd be a square out of place and I'd end with a bloody bus timetable!

The debate is why the club feel it necessary to charge anything for a piece of plastic that will cost pennies to produce. The default should have been the e-ticket but it should have been completely free if asked for a physical card.
And the whole idea of carriage and web fees just annoys the shit out of me when the club want you to use the online service yet it costs me more to do so than driving 3 miles to the ticket office.

maybe there should be a price incentive for choosing not to visit the ticket office. That way they can cut ticket office staff and save on wages.

I paid the full amount upfront by cheque (remember them) so got nothing back. I've therefore effectively paid £100 per year (minus inflation, which has been minimal for most of the period) on top of the 'discounted' ST fee, every year since the original scheme folded. Funnily enough, I don't feel that I've taken the club for a ride as some of the moaners like to suggest.

I'm a cantankerous bugger so I'm going to rock up at 5 to 3 with my app even tho my season ticket won't load on it. I expect them to delay kick off till I get in as I am doing what the club have told me to do.

I’ve taken my 2 from the age of 3, both out of the door & waiting for me on a Saturday lunchtime
Had season tickets for them for 3 years. Yeah the 3 year old needs 5 trips to the toilet but wasn’t a problem during the Adam’s reign. Both will watch 90mins & are bantams crackers, especially my daughter

You and Idle are quite right. Very good start and with 5 weeks to go and a large number of last season holders still to renew we are likely to exceed last seasons 12.7k by a margin, even given all those on here who said they would never go again!! Even if some carry out their threat I think the Club are looking towards 14k. After that there is away fans and a pay match by match choice if we do well giving a possible average home attendance of approaching 16k. Just my personal opinion.

Something that I must have missed is that if you get a plastic card it is valid for 5 years. They will just reactivate it for the following seasons as you pay
