Season Tickets 2022/23 - 'Own The Moment' (with Poll)

I'm changing my vote to "Always Next Season", with the clear focus on the season after the coming season.

Time to start targeting ticket sales for the very hopeful 2023/24 season!

 

What the hell does own the moment even mean? They should start telling that to the shower of shite turning out for us.

 

Isn't that what it is always about? You don't want to risk losing your seat in case we are good the year after.

 

Perhaps we need to start taking beach towels to the first game each season 'just in case', and it will make Mr Rupp feel a bit more at home!

It's punchy and accurate I'll give you that. Not sure it would help sell many tickets mind you.

 

Do I have to actually own the moment? Or could I sell it to a local theme park owner and then just rent it back?

 

I did the same last year. Monthly payments made it very easy to sign up.

 

I didn't get any money back but didn't pay the full amount either in the end. Which category do I fall in to?

For the record though it certainly wasn't the club that lost out, they're probably the only ones in this situation that actually received everything they were entitled to and had asked for.

 

And german Businessfolk are known for their ruthless efficiency. Shame we haven't had a bit of that....

 

I paid the full amount upfront by cheque (remember them) so got nothing back. I've therefore effectively paid £100 per year (minus inflation, which has been minimal for most of the period) on top of the 'discounted' ST fee, every year since the original scheme folded. Funnily enough, I don't feel that I've taken the club for a ride as some of the moaners like to suggest.

 

£46 taken in July then 11 more monthly payments of £35, now I've done it for the first time I'll continue, as @Rogered Tart said no brainer.

 

min addition I’ve not seen anyone who pays full price for every game moaning that season ticket holders are robbing the club by paying about £10 per game rather than the £20-£25 they are asked to cough up

 

I'll be spending well over £600 on tickets for next season, I want more than a bloody moment to enjoy ffs

 

A week of sales, wonder what sales figures are like for 22/23?

Wasn't it 1k sales in the first day last/this season and 5k within a week or so.

Plenty on here seem to think we're cheapskates for 'only' spending sums like that on season tickets
