The Club you paid went bust, The new reformed club got nothing of your money but has honoured the deal even though it had no obligation to do so, So the Bradford City of today did not receive anything from the deal,

 

they current Bradford City honoured the deal, or a variant, of the deal agreed in the CVA not the original deal

 

I agree, The old club got the money but the new club honoured the deal of a sorts, The present BCFC did not benefit from the 25 year deal

 

The new ticket campaign is terrible. Who on earth is behind this 'own the moment' rubbish? It's cheesy and cringy.

 

It's dreadful. If we'd had a great season it would make sense but we haven't so it doesn't.

That is a poor comparison, The business of Bradford City changes with its owners, Its membership of the Football league and the golden share is passed on to each subsequent owner,

 

you are talking about the club. Maybe you should have said the owners didn’t benefit for the 25yr cash rather than club.

The Bradford City of today still retained their golden share, still retained league status and still retained their history. They even kept the same owner, staff, facilities etc etc. So yes, it is the same club and yes, they did get my money.

The club/ business you paid went bust and your money went to the creditors, The new club that emerged got none of your money, The golden share is owned by the Football League not the club and is passed on to the new owners if suitable

 

the money didn’t go to the creditors. It had already been spent by the club on things for the club.

I think many administrators and lawyers would disagree with your statement about the golden share. It is owned by the owners of the club and not the football league. The league have some control over who can purchase the golden share but they are just that purchased.

 

All the assets of the club were in the control of the Administrators including any money left from the 25 yearers so that money was lost as the administrators had the job of selling the club to raise money to pay the creditors off through a CVA, Because the money had now gone with the old club/owners they were creditors of the club who had a part in the agreement to accept the CVA, Thus the club was then sold debt free to the Rhodes Family with help from a fund raised by the supporters and the T&A, Your money went to a bust business and the present BCFC has seen nothing of it but as a gesture has humoured it
