What do we do about the business that will go under including maybe Bradford City, the mental health of people, schooling, uni's, domestic violence, housing marketing etc.

Lockdowns only work short term and create bigger issues.

You stick yourself in lockdown, I'll go and watch football. I'll take my chance when the vaccination numbers are up. This idea we should still have things like pubs, restaurants and sport events completely lockdown still in 8 months time is completely absurd. Or are we just gonna go into next year or the year after? Or are we just vaccinating people for the hell of it? If all it means is another year of lockdown then we might as well not bother.

Good debate @Rogered Tart@Rogered Tart and @Storck@Storck. What you have higlighted is that, no matter what we hope for, the likelihood is that season tickets will go on sale surrounded by doubts as to just what people will end up getting when they purchase their season ticket.

It is going to be a tricky marketing exercise to say the least.

As was said at the press conference tonight at some point we are going to have to live with the virus and accept that there will be death and nasty illness how much of both the country is willing to take remains to be seen

There’s death and nasty illness with lots of things, all the same things that cause death and illness before Covid was even heard of.

Think it’s time to end the 25 year ticket millstone & bring ticket prices inline with other clubs. Cheap tickets are an excuse not to invest in the club’s infrastructure.

Not saying a start of alignment with other league two clubs would be a bad thing but it would be a big call after 2020 and everything that year involved, from £150 to possibly £250.

    Spot on !!!
Anyone paying for beer they are not allowed to drink to keep the "pub door" open ??
Just to clarify Mr Rupp is reported to be a "multi" millionaire as you say ultimately the club stands or falls by his decisions not ours

I think the numbers will be devastatingly low, maybe just 3/4000.

I'm a 25 yearer and I'm more than happy for the club to bring an end to them. We've had our monies worth so for me I think I agree with @BingleyBantam@BingleyBantam.

At the risk of sounding selfish i do think those who bought this year should have the option to purchase at the same price next season and also without having to deal with a silly march deadline either. The offer should continue to the start of the season

Me too, paid by cheque so lost the lot. In actual fact, the only people who are a "mill stone" are those who DID get their money back so are benefitting from something they never lost out on.

We have to increase the season ticket cost from the £6.52 per game , as it stands , at some point.
Its cheaper than watching some non league football.(Some may argue we are watching non league ).
i am just not sure this is the right time.
Going forward beyond next season , i would increase to £175, approx another £1 per game. 10000 ticket holders is an extra £230,000 less tax.The same again the year after, up to £200. £8.69 per game for season 23- 24. Announce the policy now so people are aware. We as fans cannot expect the club to progress , whilst paying non league prices.

Very true, I know of one fan who got an offer far less than the £2,000 you mentioned and it was going too and fro until a member on C&B told him to send a letter to the credit card company saying the courts had already set a precedent on paying out a Bradford City fan, and if they did not respond with a better offer said fan would take the credit card company to court, needless to say he got a better offer and as you say around £2,000.

No it wasn’t there fault but they were creditors just the same. Some people struggled to keep their business going People who were refunded were quid in.
I personally have no problem whatsoever with whatever benefits are still being payed but some who were hit a lot harder than me might have

I'm in group six being over 50 and diabetic. I expect to be done by the end of March. All 44 million of the over 16 population in England will get one if they want it
