Season Ticket Demand Update

It's true. Drag your kids along to watch Bradford City but if the club and fans don't change their current mentality to a winning one then they won't want to watch Bradford City for much longer.

 

To be fair my 9 year old who has been city mad since 4 years old has completely lost interest even to a stage where he's asked if we can watch Harrogate town instead after watching them a couple of times this season.
He doesn't know he's mascot next Monday yet.

He's got a season ticket this year along with his younger brother, it'll be his first season.
Let the brainwashing commence.

 

Not one of my three want to go anymore, either because they’re sick of them losing or getting grief off their mates.
Renewed all four season tickets, hopefully they’ll get the bug back next season!

No mate it's not but people like @Bronco and @Park bantam are thinking about their young days. The world is totally different now.

We've bigger banter, social media, PS4's, we work harder & longer, we've colour tv's, more tv channels with more sport that mainly show winning teams, more money etc

The mentality of Bradford City is all wrong (it's a losers club at the minute) and the kids won't be interested in a club with a losing mentality.

While some of you think club statements by Rhodes and Rupp's is enough to convince you the kids will be like it's fake news and that they've proved nothing.

I'm just being realistic. Bradford City Football needs to get a grip, fans need to start demanding success and find losing unacceptable because the kids of today won't put up with it.

 

Give it a rest Fordy it's becoming very cringe worthy.

It's not a dig at anyone it's just the world today. I think other posters like @simons (woking bantam) havs talked about winning mentality and they're right.

The mentality of the club has to change that is the biggest problem at Bradford City now Edin has gone.

The first part I quoted makes no sense at all, the second quote I said is rubbish. Plenty of kids are stlll into their footy Fordy.

 

Not saying they're not into footy. I am saying they won't be into Bradford City like you're if we continue with the losing mentality the club currently has.

The first bit isn't rubbish unless you've a black and white tv in your house.

 

Success isn't forever though and the chances of actually topping your division are slim. Football IS an entertainment industry but supporters need to take the up's with the downs because Club's cannot survive without them. The majority of Clubs need some adequate financial backing if they are to progress, but the chemistry of success is almost in the lap of the god's for most teams. We can demand mate.. but the odds are not on our side and no-one has a divine right to join the big boys.However as fans ,we need to know our Club is run properly and that there is almost an aggressive attitude to bringing success on and off the field.Problem is the fiscal rules that apply to private business are not the same as those employed in professional football unfortunately.

 

Looking forward to next season, we might finally get the atmosphere back at VP. it seemed to be awful when the glory hunters came in after the cup runs.
